I had an outstanding experience at Five Guys today, thanks to the exceptional service from Mr. Alex. He was not only professional but also genuinely warm and attentive, making sure every detail of my order was handled perfectly. As someone who has been a longtime Five Guys fan and has visited several locations—including all the ones in Hong Kong—I can honestly say this branch stands out by far. The burger was remarkably well-prepared, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Even though one might think burgers are the same everywhere, this one truly impressed me with its quality and care. Having even lived right next to the Wan Chai Five Guys before, I can confidently say none have matched the level of hospitality and craftsmanship I experienced here today. Thank you again, Mr. Alex, for your kindness and professionalism. I’ll definitely be back soon!

So nice that patrons can add as many kinds of ingredients as they want to the burger. I like mushrooms and grilled onions, I'm satisfied with the extra amount. Cheeseburger tastes yum. Milkshake is a good item too, but I started to feel fed up the fourth time I tasted it as it felt too heavy to pair up with the big-size burger today. Perhaps I was not starving enough. Next time I will change back to fizzy drinks, it offer unlimited refill. What I appreciate is their self-serving supply of tissue. It's convenient for both patreons and shopkeepers. Many HK restaurants are so unwilling to provide tissue. However, they don't provide free water. And the mall washroom is just right next to the restaurant.

I really didn’t expect the service and food to be this bad. I had Five Guys in the US, and it was really nice, but the food here was nothing like it. 1. First of all, it took so long to complete my order. You have to pick your toppings one by one—normally, you can just choose all and exclude the ones you don’t want. When I tried to order this way, the cashier rudely stopped me and told me to select each topping individually. 2. Most of the orders were wrong. There were toppings we didn’t ask for, and we ordered a bacon hotdog, but it didn’t have any bacon. 3. Soggy burger, tasteless fries and honestly, nothing special, definitely not worth the price.

The food here is absolutely mediocre and more on the bad side. I ordered a regular hambuger, and the first bite was already enough for me to know that I'd never come back here again. The buns were mushy, the lettuce and tomatoes were stale and oddly soft, the cheese was rubbery and the meat was as thin as a piece of paper. Not to mention, it was extremely dry.

The only decent items on the menu are the milkshakes and the Cajun Fries. But beware, they're also pretty expensive.

I am baffled by how unaffordable this fast-food chain is. 90hkd ~ 150 hkd for a single burger is pretty mind blowing. If they were exceptional burgers and had high-quality, pricey, melt-in-your-mouth meat in them, I'd understand the price. However, it's the total opposite. You'd likely regret even trying out this restaurant for the rest of your life.

Simply do yourself a favour and go to (relatively) affordable fast-food restaurants like McDonalds or Shake Shack. You'll save yourself from bankruptcy and the horrible, lingering dry taste of the patty meat...
