Peek-A-Poke (Tsim Sha Tsui) — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Had a dinner date with my friend at this poke resto in Tsim Sha Tsui. . I ordered Pok-keh, which included tuna poke, red onion, seaweed, tobiko and dashi shoyu. The portion was huge and the tuna was quite substantial. The seaweed was a bit fishy though, adding some difficulty to finish the dish.

My friend ordered Go Green, which featured salmon poke, cucumber, tomatoes and honey vinaigrette. The dish looked colourful and was refreshing to have, esp during the hot summer weather. . The place was adorned with cute paintings and stuffed toys. Customers were required to serve themselves for water and tableware. . Tbh, we were somewhat taken aback by their service. We were asked to scan the QR code on our table to order. However, upon noticing a "Mini" option on their menu that wasn't shown on the app, we walked to the counter and asked if we could order it. The staff responded in a rather rude manner, mentioning that the option was only available from 14:00 to 17:30. actually it has several branches in hong kong and overseas, this one at heath shopping mall 庆方商场 tsimshatsui, chungking mansion basement, it specialized in hawaiian poke bowls 夏威夷蓋飯/魚生碗, mainly the poke/dishes are made mixing seafood (tuna, salmon …) served with salad vegetables or steames rice, using low calorie fresh produce /ingredients, you can choose toppings or simply their set signature bowls. see photos of menu for more details, in brief, the food is healthy and refreshing, price considered reasonable in a tourist district like tsimshatsui

Poke in hawaiian language means slice/flake in english and 切粒/细细粒 in chinese

Located in lower ground floor of mall. Located close to the entrance from Nathan Road. Healthy protein bowls with rice. Can select the ingredients for extra cost or just select their normal bowls. Order at table on QR code. Pay first at front counter. The bowl is delivered to table when ready. Choice of salmon, tuna, octopus, chicken over a bed of rice. Sushi rice or normal rice. Salad. Dish is cold. Each bowl is around 90HKD. Some soft drinks and hot tea available for extra HKD5. Can size up and ask for extra rice and extra vegetables for no extra cost. Healthy food. No oil.
