At this place, they do two types of Glutinous rice mochis, one is white and one is purple.

The purple one is purple glutinous rice.

I was surprised at how big these mochis were because they were the size of my palm.

After I took a bite, I realised why they were so big because they were filled with huge chunks of mango and not the small cubes you usually get.

Mango lovers are going to love the sweet and juicy mango meat when they bite into this.

Personally I don't like mango and the durian version...

Black mango mochi is special around Cheung Chau as it is rare to see, $16 each is the price as regular mango mochi. It tastes nice as you can bite the whole mango inside, and it is sweet rather than sour. Many people come by and ask for it while sitting down enjoying our dessert. The black sesame with tofu pudding. Taro sago tastes fine, not special but fair enough. There is a lot of options on the menu, you can have a milkshake or smoothie with various kind of fruit if you don’t...

If you made it to cheung chau island, this is one of your must stops. There are imitators and pretenders, but this is the real one. Don't be tempted by the other mango mochi places, this is the real deal. The mango is sweet and tender, but it is the mochi that stands out. It is soft and chewy, with the perfect texture and bite. The other desserts are all quite good, but I recommend everyone in your party get at least one mochi each....

Our first taste of the Cheung Chau mango mochi. Once we walked in we saw multiple aunties building the mochis from scratch with their hands, immediately I knew this was going to be good. One random Cheung Chau man who we later learned did not work there seated us, recommended us what to order and put in our orders for us, and it was very banger. Mango mochi will always be special to me, it is worth coming to Cheung Chau just for that
