Amphawa 安柏娃 — Restaurant in Kowloon

I liked this restaurant, so I came back several times. However, these two times I had bad experiences.

The first time, after I decided to take away instead of dine in, one of the waitress ask me to stand up and change to another table which was taken one-sided by another customer. There weren't many people at that time. Only 4 or so.

Today, Same waitress. Not welcoming customer's suggestion on improving the quality of their plastic box. She asked me to put food out into my own bowl before microwaving.... Though my point is the quality of the plastic itself is worse and more toxic than the average. Before I go, I expressed thank you. She noded her head and said nothing... I find this interaction very unpleasant and not respectful.

The food is not good as before for this time. I couldn't bring up any judgement anymore. I won't come back again simply because of these bad...

Great experience here as a traveler! My friends and I enjoyed the dinner we had on our last night in Hong Kong. We ordered the typical items, including the red curry, vegetable, chicken skewers, and for dessert, we topped it off with the mango sticky rice. I personally have a sweet tooth so the mango sticky rice was beyond my expectations, I'd highly recommend everyone to try it.

The Tom Yum soup was also great, a little sour and sweet never hurt! (I'd even say that it can really compare to a lot of the authentic Thai restaurants here in New York City!) If I visit Hong Kong again, I hope to get a taste of the mango sticky rice again and grab some more of that curry to go with rice! It was delicious and we cannot wait to be back here to try more...

Been a few times during lunch times! The place has been serving the food at the acceptable taste. The set lunches are hk$58 with choice of one main dish plus a drink. Only a few tables in it but the food wall hanging big photos of various dishes in stunning colors. It would be nice if the main entrance replaced with a door instead of plastic pieces where the cool air from old air con all...
