With the price they charged, I was more than disappointed! For the cafe latte, don't let the fancy pattern fool you - the milk was tepid, the aroma was, to put it moderately, underwleming (if not completely absent)! The breakfast ($88) was even more unbearable! First off, the serving size was astoundingly skimpy. The toast was inadequately toasted and stingily thin. The granola, I suspected, was store-bought and tasted awfully sweet and bit rancid and soggy! The jam, which also seemed to be store-bought, was too sweet to the extent that it tragically messed up the yogurt and I couldn't bring myself to finish it! Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the staffer (NOT server because everything was self-serving besides cashier) tried every conceivable way to shovel me out of the place after 30 minutes of my visit! First, he reminded me that I may have to vacate a seat (which I put my backpack on) of my table when the store got busy later (which I would fully comply if needed). Two minutes later, he asked me to vacate that seat as customers needed the seat, which was okay with me. Then he squeezed several customers in the nearby table, which I started to get irritated and eventually fed up by his pushy attidue and nuisance and eventually I left after 5 minutes of the first encounter with him! As I settled the bill and walked out of the cafe and found out there were several empty tables at the front of the cafe and I figured either those customers didn't need my table and chair but wanted them or that staffer was a pathetic jackass! What a "fantastic" way to ruin a weekend breakfast! Don't waste your money here (unless you want to squander your hard-earned money to get some awful gastronomical catastrophe and horrendous...

I never left a bad review before, but their Bulgogi Eggs Benedict was extremely disappointing. Since it was marked as a signature dish and sounded really unique, I would assume that it would be one of the best dishes served here.

But I'm sorry, there is no way I can justify charging $138 for tasteless, small portioned food that I waited 30minutes for. I'm shocked that there was even a line for this place.

It was a piece of white toast with 2 onsen eggs, lots of sauerkraut and a bit of meat sauce (that I could barely taste). In hindsight, there was no coffee taste at all in their "Expresso Hollandaise" (or maybe they forgot the hollandaise sauce all together). The salad was 3 pieces (I wish I was exaggerating) of kale on the side with stems in (the most flavorful thing was the balsamic vinegar they drizzled on the leaves). I wish I took a picture of what I got because compared to the old pictures it's like night and day.

I understand they were extremely busy so I did not mind waiting. My friends were basically finished their food by the time I was served. But the overall experience was so abysmal on top of the long wait time.

I hope today was just a mistake and that other people have better experiences. If not please don't recommend this dish as a signature because it's not doing your...

Special and authentic cafe food you can’t find anywhere else!

We are all tired of regular cafe food where all pastas or pastries are the same, quality is just mid, while price is $120+. This place is something else!

We had a pumpkin risotto with slow cooked pork and homemade chilli oil. Risotto was very creamy, the pumpkin base was cooked with oat milk! Slow cooked pork was very tender and juicy, paired with the homemade chilli oil was absolutely delicious. The honey marinated egg was also worth noting! the honey added an extra layer of flavours that makes them different from any normal soy sauce marinated egg. Very different flavours incorporated in a risotto dish!

Shredded beef sous vide egg benedict with espresso toffee hollandaise was another amazing dish. They made a twist to the traditional hollandaise sauce and it tastes SO GOOD!! The rich flavours blend very well with the beef. The only flaw if I had to be picky, was the toast not being hot or crispy enough.

Needless to say, coffee is great given they have won brewers cup before. Also appreciate their innovative drinks besides the usual black and...

Cafe Revol is located along Tak Shing Street in Jordan. This is a fairly popular spot for lunch during the week. Have gone by a couple times and found them full up. You can do take-away orders if necessary. They have a fair sized indoor seating area with casual environs as well as a few bar stool seats outside. In addition to cooked western style meals, they do good coffee drinks at Cafe Revol. I've enjoyed a good espresso macchiato and most recently a well prepared espresso tonic, a refreshing drink during our hot summer afternoons. Service is friendly and as timely as they can manage depending on how many patrons you find when arriving. Not much in the form of good coffee options on this side of Nathan Road in Jordan, Cafe Revol is a good spot if in the area and in the need.
