Having stayed in many different hotels in Hong Kong I have got used to the small cramped rooms with very little in the way of service and poor staff attitude. This is my first time to come back to HK as a family so I looked for a hotel with a bigger room and could accommodate a 3 year old child and this hotel ticked all the boxes for me. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is only a 1 minute walk from exit D of Jordan MTR station on Nathan Road so there are lots of shops, restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets etc.... within seconds of the hotel. The room size was over double the size of most of the other hotels I have stayed in so was perfect for my new family. Decent sized bathroom with an independent shower closet from the toilet so using the bathroom was not a struggle, most other hotels I have stayed in the shower , sink and the toilet are together in a closet size space so again ticked another box for me. But what really impressed me most about this hotel is the service, I can honestly say it has been the best service I have ever received out of all of the hotels I have stayed in Hong Kong. We arrived early on the day of check in (11:30) and went to the hotel with the intention of just leaving out luggage in the lobby until check in time (after 14:00) but was pleasantly surprised when the reception lady said she would see if she could allow us to check in early which she was able to do so again another box ticked for me. Finally the service I received from Susie after I realized I may have left one of my headphone ear pods in the room was above and beyond what you would expect. She checked with house keeping not once but twice to check if it had been found with a negative result, however she doubted this and went personally to the room I stayed in and found my headphone ear pod which she has put in reception for me to collect on my next visit. 5...

no elevator to access the reception, if you are with big luggage you will have to carry 1 floor up to do check in. Only elevator is available to the room.

After the check-out time at 11am, if you need to store the luggage at their storage room, they will charge you HKD50 per room for the first day and HKD100 for subsequent days. No issue for me as I don't store luggage after check out but just a note.

Room is quite dark but spacious. This is a plus point as in Hong Kong space is a luxurious thing.

The room is just beside a restaurant's exhaust so it could be quite smelly (oil smell) even though the window is sealed.

Room price is above average but basic necessity like mineral water is not provided. They said the purpose is to reduce one off usage of amenities but I observe not really true as the paper in-room slipper and tooth brush are still provided. At least they should provide water dispenser but not to require guests to buy mineral water at HKD5/500ml at their store. I had plenty experiences staying in budget hotel but all had never failed to provide at least 2 bottles of mineral water or with water dispenser facility.

Except for the location, the stay is so-so. I opine the standard of service is not quite commensurate with...

Dear Guests, please avoiding from staying such a dilapidated hotel! You need to move your suitcase to the 2nd floor which is their hotel lobby! If you have too much luggage, don't waste your precious time and energy! It's too much trouble! Also, at this hotel price, you can refer to better hotels! This hotel is just a 1-star at best! Toilets in hotel rooms are like public toilets, I think there are some public toilets better than them! Definitely makes you not want to go to the bathroom or shower! The air conditioning in the room is also old! The sheets have dirty marks! The walls also have the effect of paint removal, which really ruins your view! Please avoid this hotel! There is only one elevator in this hotel, and if you want to risk trying the jump machine! Come here and experience it! But cherish your own lives, do not involve family and friends, you can definitely find other better hotels! Don't go for convenience, or cheap! And this hotel is not very cheap! But everything costs money! Put an end to this hotel! Susi, the hotel receptionist, is also impolite and dishonest! When she only asked me if I was checking out and didn't even ask me why? But she claimed she does to a booking platform! I guess she might have...

Considering how expensive it is to stay in HK, this was a gem. This is close to the MTR and Bus stations. There are convenience stores and good restaurants nearby. We stayed at Metacity Living for 1 week. The check-in and check-out processes are both quick. I’m thankful that they allowed us to check-in early after our exhausting trip. They also allow luggage storage prior to check-in in case all the rooms are still full when you arrive. The room had a musty smell when we came in but it went away after several hours of airconditioning. The room is spacious, it has a spacious restroom, a tiny bath area, hanging rack, towels, slippers, hair dryer and water heater. The only thing we didn’t love is the steps/stairs to get to the reception/first level of elevator. Other than that, it was value for money.

Unbelievable standard. The room has a sour smell... the shower area way below hygiene standard. The tap is mouldy.. Curtain dropped off..when approached the staff.. she commented only she alone will need to wait for next shift staff to fix it(the time is 2315h). If u are looking for a room w great location... yes.they are. Other then that.. not advisable. From street level to reception.. need to use steps.. no lift to level 2.

Killed 2 cockroaches in a room in a hotel where anyone can take the lift up to any level without any security pass/check. Walls are thin, rooms aren't provided with bottled water. Hotel is definitely a glorified 2* hotel trying to make it as a 3* one. Oh and check out the shower conditions; photos taken upon check-in.
