Hong Kongs weather forecast is very untrustable!! Everytime it is POOOOURRRING outsite they only give a thunder signal or a yellow rain signal, and when it is very calm and no rain at all, they decide to hoist a red rain signal. How does that make any sense?? The only time they hoist a red or black rain signal are when students are at school or in the weekend, they would rather students go out in dangerous weather conditions, then miss out on a school day. If i could, I would give this place a zero out of five stars....

Every summer, Hong Kong is hit by typhoons. The situation is quite serious. The work of the Observatory is to report the weather. It has to inform the public about the exact location of the typhoon, the speed of movement and where it will land. This helps the public to take measures to prevent wind damage and minimize casualties. In this aspect, the Hong Kong Observatory has done a good job. It...

HK observatory is by far the worst weather forecast I have ever seen. When weather is cloudy and about to rain, they're capable of forecasting sunny weather, and vice versa. Their typhoon signals is also very poor (ex: TO when the wind is so weak, or T3 while the wind is very strong). Sadly and clearly, they're not...
