JUST‘er Bar and Resturant — Restaurant in Kowloon

Offering funky fusion dishes, @justerestaurant is a small 💛 gastrobar with eye-catching neon signs that can be seen outside from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

We were quite entertained by the quotes on the menu, although it mentioned that there was a minimum charge of $200 per person and waiting time was necessary before the made-to-order dishes were served. Drinks came quite fast though, so at least we could take off our masks.

[Spaghetti Concasse with Lobster and Tiger Prawn] If you take a close look, you might be able to tell that the unique plating resembles Venusaur from Pokemon (as suggested by the Chinese name of this dish). The diced tomato concasse on top of the spaghetti complemented the juicy succulent lobster while the two tiger prawns had firm fresh flesh that was naturally flavorful.

[Slow Cooked Salmon with Grapefruit Sauce, Sour Cream & Pumpkin Puree Rice] This innovative dish from the seasonal menu was not quite what we had expected, but in a good way. The sweet and sour grapefruit sauce drizzled on the sides of the plate paired exceptionally well with the amazingly moist salmon steak. The sour cream and pumpkin puree layer on top of the white rice had a rich creamy consistency similar to risotto.

[Chamomile Honey Lemon Tea} The distinctive herbal flavor was quite dominating from the dried chamomile flowers infused in the tea. We chose lemon over mango, so there were several lemon slices at the bottom of the glass.

[Strawberry Smoothie] This smoothie was quite milky and not too thick. The strawberry syrup was blended with real pulp so it wasn’t too sugary and there were even strawberry seeds mixed in.

This small 💛 restaurant located in Hillwood Road, you better make reservations because tables are limited. They serve affordable and tasty dishes with interesting Cantonese names

One Bite Sushi Roll × 4 (Scallop)▪︎特色一口手卷 4件 (帶子) HK$88

-These bite-sized Temaki Sushi with fresh & tender Hotate/Scallop tasted sweet and buttery

Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab▪︎炸軟殼蟹有兩隻 HK$68

-Even the size wasn't quite big, these soft cell crabs still managed to have buttery meat inside, with a light salty crunch skin & not too greasy

Japanese Omelette with Grilled Unagi▪︎MK鰻魚風蛋包飯 HK$118

-I always opt for Tamagoyaki because of its soft custardy texture and sweetness. Sweet & savoury Unagi is my all time favorite too, this dish gathered two of my fave ingredients, how could I say no! I do wish there were more unagi pieces in it

Baked Baby Pork Ribs with French Fries▪︎焗多汁豬仔骨配薯條 HK$128

-Dipping the crispy thin fries with this beer ketchup was waaay better than normal tomato sauce. Baby ribs had an ultra savoury & spicy kick thanks to the yummy sauce that rub on the meat

Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken Karaage in Balsamic Vinegar▪︎邪王炎殺黑龍意粉 HK$138

-Trust me, if you speak Cantonese you know it isn't easy to read this name very fast and clear. Actually it's a east meet west fusion pasta dish, the fried chicken had a nice crispness & I like it cooked with the sweet-and-sour flavor of black vinegar

I always tell my friends that Jordan has a lot of hidden gems. People tend to go Tsim Sha Tsui a lot for food, but always tend to miss out the good eats in Jordan 🤧

This time we went to a Hong Kong style western restaurant in Jordan, just a 5 minutes walk from Jordan station !! 🙌🏻

The restaurant only has 6 tables, so it won’t be too crowded and we could enjoy our dinner as well. The restaurant mainly serves pasta, poultry and seafood. They are famous for their meat and seafood platter 🦞 and we ordered that this time 😎🤤 (HK$490)

The platter was huge !! Portions were good to share with 2-3 people I think 🙌🏻 The platter consist of lobster 🦞 (yumm) ribs, chicken, soft shell crab and some fries on the side 🍟. We also ordered two glasses of wine for tonight.

We tried different roast chickens from different stores, and this is definitely one of the best ones !! It was so tender and juicy (unlike somewhere which serves super dry chickens🤧) It was well marinated and overall taste was quite decent.

The lobster was also worth mentioning 😌 The restaurant was quite generous for the size of the lobster, so it could be shared among two people. 👫 For this price and being able to taste a variety of food, I think it was quite worth and I think the restaurant is suitable for gatherings too !!

Overall dining experience was good and the service was welcoming too. Will definitely recommend my friends to go there...
