Dalloyau — Restaurant in Kowloon

We came to Harbour City in search specifically for this cafe on our first day in Hong Kong. The entire cafe only had 2 people dining in at the point when we arrived and so we requested to dine in. However we were rejected and the staff told us that we could only do takeaway. Less than an hour later, my brother and his fiancée managed to dine in and we were shocked as to why they were allowed in and we weren’t! One of the staff explained that it was because there was a lack of staff at the point of our arrival but that is not true at all. We did not want to make a scene and left thereafter leaving all disappointed that we weren’t able to enjoy the day as we had planned. Terribly...

The restaurant is nicely designed, and the seating just like fine dining space, kinda comfortable and quiet.

Today I had the scone set $113. It comes with one original flavored and one raisin flavored scone. The scone is reheated, spread with blackcurrent jam and clotted cream, it is a nice flavor of sweet and sour, and the scone is not too dense, with nice milk and flour flavor. Honestly speaking, it doesn’t make a big difference of original and raisin flavor , they both taste quite nice.

The hazelnut latte is very smooth and foamy, the tone of hazelnut is gentle, not overly sweetened, and the temperature is just right.

not yet finish my coffee and the waiter asked me to wear mask becuz i was chatting with my frd. then i asked does it mean i have to keep wearing mask and putting it off between i talk and drink. He said yes. woah first time i have to eat like this in a restaurant. what a great experience. but how come i dun feel its silent in the cafe? everyone is talking while eating without their masks on. the only true reason behind is the waiter wants u to finish quickly...
