We came to Harbour City in search specifically for this cafe on our first day in Hong Kong. The entire cafe only had 2 people dining in at the point when we arrived and so we requested to dine in. However we were rejected and the staff told us that we could only do takeaway. Less than an hour later, my brother and his fiancée managed to dine in and we were shocked as to why they were allowed in and we weren’t! One of the staff explained that it was because there was a lack of staff at the point of our arrival but that is not true at all. Today I had the scone set $113. It comes with one original flavored and one raisin flavored scone. The scone is reheated, spread with blackcurrent jam and clotted cream, it is a nice flavor of sweet and sour, and the scone is not too dense, with nice milk and flour flavor. Honestly speaking, it doesn’t make a big difference of original and raisin flavor , they both taste quite nice.
The hazelnut latte is very smooth and foamy, the tone of hazelnut is gentle, not overly sweetened, and the temperature is just right.
