J.S. FOODIES - Harbour City — Restaurant in Kowloon

I visited here with my girlfriend last month. We thought it was nice since there was some people lining up. Only 2 person per table at the moment and 5 people in line so we thought that we didn't have to wait for long. However, when the line moved and there was only 1 lady in front of us, that lady suddenly bring her 3 other friends and the waitress gave them the table first. We felt annoyed, we waited for 20mins just for someone else to steal our table, it's not fair!. Sadly, the waitress just allowed it. And because it was almost 5pm and we knew most of the restaurant nearby have done the last order by this moment, we decided to be more patient and just wait for our table. When we ordered the food, we noticed that it mostly come with fries and my girlfriend wanted to have the truffle fries with her burger. I kindly ask the waiter if we can just pay an additional money for the truffle fries and she immediately said "no, not possible" my girlfriend was very disappointed and even told the waitress that she's willing to pay 30hkd more just for the truffle, but the waiter still said no. Since my gf was disappointed and angry, she just decided to order the truffle fries instead of the burger because she wanted it more. I didn't understand the logic of this waitress or this restraurant. I had my egg benedict and the egg was very cold! We didn't want any further trouble and just wanted to finish our meal. Afterwards, I couldn't help and just ask the same waitress who was currently in charge, she then said that it was her. I spoke to her about our main complains we had and she just said sorry. We paid our bill and swear to God we will never come back...

A popular bistro always having a queue outside. Arrived at noon on a Saturday and luckily having a table in 5 minutes with a dining time limit of 90 minutes.

The menu are mainly in western style fusion with Japanese ingredients. Ordered a burger and risotto, waited around 30 minutes till the dishes arrives.

Fries with the burger is piping hot, which is great. Patty is juicy and I would love it having more seasoning. The portion of risotto is shockingly small, much smaller than in the promotional photo. Tasted okay though.

Finally ordered soufflé pancakes, waited for 15 minutes or so this time. Worth the wait, with lots of strawberries on the top, the dish looks attractive. Fluffy texture pancakes served with...

Only walk-ins are accepted so I would recommend going there during weekday lunch time to avoid peak waiting time.

Food were great and served very quickly, perhaps due to the limited meal time of 90 minutes.

The pastas didn't look like much in pics but I assure you 2 pastas would make you too full for dessert. So my advice is to order just 1 pasta and then a dessert.

Not really an expensive restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui. Would pay another visit in the future. Updates on 2022 December:
