I have only been to one other conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Asia, and that was 2 years ago. Genki Sushi in Hong Kong couldn't possibly be as good as I remember the other was, could it? On the table was powdered tea, a hot water dispenser, ginger with tongs, soy sauce. and itensils. There is a paper menu but it's really easy to go through the QR code to order from your phone. The price for each plate or food is right there on the food list with a photo of each food. You place your order of small servings of whatever you want and if you chose a 'train' table, a sleek, high-speed train delivers parts of your order to your table as they become ready. As you enjoy your selections, trains will pass by, delivering to other customers. When you want more, just order on your phone again and the train will deliver again. I was amazed by the staff in Genki Sushi - Hongkong. They are very accommodating and helped us to connect ASAP once we arrived becaise they knew that the location has slow mobile data reception.
In addition, they offered us a link with the Hongkong Tourism Board promo of 100 HKD per visitor so that we can have discount from our total bill.
Overall, I am happy with their service and I would love to visit the store again.
