We were very excited to finally be able to visit Kactus.

The ordering process was not very pleasant as the girl who took our order was quite rude. The party ahead of us took quite a while to decide what they wanted and order. That was fine. But when it was our turn, the girl kept rushing us even though we could only see the menu when it was our turn.

It took me 5 seconds to decide what I wanted. I wanted the iced chocolate. I showed her a picture I found on Google to confirm it was the drink I wanted. She very impatiently said that they changed it and now it’s going to be different from what is in the picture. So naturally, I asked what was different and she said ā€œwe changed the sauceā€.

I said sure I’ll have it.

Then I turned to ask what my husband wanted, she very rudely asked ā€œ are you done ordering?ā€ The shop was not busy, there were no customers behind us so her rude and abrupt attitude was quite unjustified.

The iced americano we got was ok. Normal. Nothing to write home about but also nothing to complain about.

The chocolate I got was just horrible. $60 for milk and basically what was nesquik chocolate syrup. No real chocolate taste just fake sugary brown syrup. Even after mixing it thoroughly, there’s not much chocolate taste. So better to avoid unless you like poor customer service and overly priced and...

We desperately needed a coffee and we found this coffee place when we passed by one evening. It is located at the very corner by the end of the street, not very obvious to see, however it has the best spot for car parking where you can have your coffee and pay attention to any ticketing from police.

We ordered the Vienna Koffee and Dolche Triple Latte. The Vienna Koffee is served with rich cream on top, it tastes very good and smooth. My hubby likes sweet coffee which the Dolche Triple becomes his fav.

We did not order any cake as we visited after dinner time. I think this is also a popular place for the Korean pop fan to display their idols posters or having fan gathering.

Overall they serve good coffee with reasonable price. Worth to go again especially you need a spot to park your car nearby (try...

I m in great doubt for the hygiene conditions of this shop… there are quite a lot of insects and bugs in the shop and my coffee had a fly which enjoyed a great tour on it…

Informed the staff and was offered to remove the cream on top and change the glass (not the coffee) for me. Tbh, very disappointed. I got this coffee for the cream so what’s the point of having all cream removed lol. And they need to respect that not everyone is fine with sharing a meal with insects in HK… the staff looked real not surprised and didn’t even feel sorry.

The cheesecake ($60) was not special and merely caught the standard of the chained coffee shops. Not recommended. I trust people should stop the hype on these so-called ā€œboutique-styleā€ cafes. There are better places to...
