PizzaExpress (Olympian City) — Restaurant in Kowloon

PizzaExpress is a popular restaurant chain that offers a variety of Italian-inspired dishes, with a focus on pizza. I recently visited one of their locations for lunch and had a mixed experience.

The environment of the restaurant was quite pleasant, with a modern yet cozy interior that was well-lit and inviting. The service was also good, with friendly and attentive staff who were quick to take our orders and make recommendations.

However, I found the prices to be quite high, especially considering the quality of the food. While the dishes were decent, they didn't stand out in terms of taste or presentation. The pizzas, which are the restaurant's main offering, were particularly disappointing, with lackluster toppings and a chewy crust that didn't quite hit the mark.

Overall, while I appreciated the pleasant environment and good service, I left feeling that the restaurant was overpriced for what it offered. Honestly don’t bother with this branch of Pizza Express, they excel in incompetence. Twice I ordered from Deliveroo and they didn’t accept my orders, they just let them run. I called them the first time and they mistakenly claimed that they hadn’t received my order, only to realise they actually had. When the pizza arrived (finally) it was on a thick base, it was flavourless and somewhat burnt. Disappointing but no biggie, thought they deserved a second chance so Second time ordering from Deliveroo and it happened again! They failed to accept my order! It baffles me that they find something so simple so hard. This time I didn’t bother calling, just cancelled the order and used Foodpanda to order from the TST branch. Avoid this place...

Very Bad & below average food quality.The staffs service is average. Even the Pizza what they are famous for is so awful, it just taste like plain bread, seems they forgot or ran out of Cheese/pizza sauce. The most disappointing thing they said was they can't even simply write "Happy Birthday" in Dessert Plate...What a SHAME... when customers wants to celebrate their special day in their Restaurant. So I wrote by myself "HB Mom" with a Ketchup. Just 1 advice to the staffs & management team of Pizza Express "Really need better training for Customer service". Very Bad experience & Strongly NOT...
