Hidden in the basement of a sportswear shopping center next to Chung King Mansion, Six’s Noodles is a traditional Hong Kong style noodles shop originated in Lam Tin and serves signature wonton and dumpling noodles.
I ordered this Signature Wonton Udon that came with very delicious “shrimp roe” powder on top. As stated in the display in the restaurant, the soup base is made daily with lots of fresh ingredients and I could actually taste the sweetness of it, not fishy at all even though they use quite a lot of fish to make it.
The wontons were very yummy! Thickness of the skin was right to the point, not too thick to be doughy, nor too thin that would break when you pick it up with your chopsticks. The shrimps inside were so fresh and flavoured. Awesome! The udon was just ordinary udon, so nothing...

We were walking along the Avenue of Stars and craving wonton noodles. We found this restaurant nearby, but the experience was disappointing.
📍 Location: Hard to find. It’s inside a shopping arcade, but there are several next to each other on the same street, which makes it confusing.
🧼 Hygiene: Just okay. Chopsticks are left in an open container on the table, unwrapped and unprotected. Our table wasn’t very clean either.
🍜 Food: We ordered the signature dry noodles with wontons. The wontons were decent, but the sauce had a strong, raw taste that we really didn’t enjoy. The dish felt rushed and basic—no attention to flavor or presentation. It was more about efficiency than enjoyment.
❌ Overall: We wouldn’t recommend this place. The food lacked taste, the hygiene wasn’t great, and the experience felt underwhelming.

Read more2nd time in HK and still our family’s go to place for dinner especially if you want some wontons or soup with your rice bowl! Staff are uber friendly, food is super affordable you can just have yourself your own little buffet of their menu. What really caught our attention was how the noodles were cooked well not squishy or dry. The meat itself from the beef brisket was very umami indeed. Will definitely be coming back here for every visit to HK. My husband also loves their lemon tea. We wish we could bring some of the brew home sadly i think its a house recipe and...
