Sweetheart Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Kowloon

This restaurant has been here forever. I remember eating here as a kid. Coming back to HK, we thought this would be a good walk down memory lane.... big disappointment... something are better left as memories. The stairs down to the restaurant was as I remembered but show it's age. Inside the dark space, we ordered from an unresponsive waitress. The price and food were reasonable. Then I went to the washroom, very maze like...turn right then turn left, go straight (you get the idea), the small WC not very clean. On way back to my seat, I realized nothing in the restaurant was really clean, from the walls to the floor. The white upholstered booth were dark grey moving towards black. Sorry to say, I can't recommend this restaurant. For those who had fond memories of this restaurant, keep those memories by no seeing how far downhill this restaurant...

Mom been asking to come to this particular Sweetheart Garden as it persevered the old decor and the classic taste - a much needed comfort for her in memory of my late father.

Food came quick and delicious at the same great value you would expect from a 花園餐廳。

Be sure to come to this and not that other renewed shops if you’re looking to go down memory lane.

Use to be great place to dine, now it is slightly overpriced. But the main thing is the food quality is not as good as before, also the quality of service is terrible, I was there with a friend at 7 PM, with the place half full, but they rush to give us the bill when I was still on my main dish.
