🥢 Leng Kei – Classic Roasts with Local Vibes
This small local spot serves all the Cantonese favorites – char siu, roast duck, crispy pork, and braised pork leg. Seating is limited, but the staff do their best to assist, even if English is not their main language.
The rice was fluffy and served hot, which paired perfectly with the meats. The char siu was a bit on the dry side but still flavorful, while the bone-in version was tender and delicious. The crispy pork had a rich, fatty bite with a salty edge – not for everyone, but definitely full of character. The stir-fried greens helped balance out the richness nicely.

I ordered a combo of roasted goose and BBQ pork, the combo came with a side steamed veggies and a sauce. The goose was tender and fragrant, with crispy skin. The BBQ pork was a tad bit dry but nice balance of sweet and salty. Wish there was some type of soup to go with, but overall great restaurant!
