Well well well, where should I start...

The restaurant has this whole fake Japanese vibe to it that lures a typical Hong Konger.

Went for lunch and ordered "set lunch," what it really means is charging you a la carte prices for a main + a drink and there's really no deal to it. The Donburi Teishoku should at least come with a steamed egg and miso soup like every other Japanese restaurant. But no, you only get a small donburi and that's it.

Then there's the fried soft shell crab spaghetti, and you know the sauce is a cheap canned sauce that they pour over the spaghetti. I could've done a better job at home with sauce I buy from the supermarkets nearby. Spaghetti is cooked in bulk, you can straight up tell by the temperature and chewiness.

Take a slight glance into the kitchen and you realize this place is just a Cha Chaan Teng situated in a shopping mall charging prices that way exceed the quality and quantity of food. If you want Japanese or Japanese style food, there's at least 3 other better options in its vicinity.

Service is also terrible, ordered Ice Coffee and then Hot Coffee came after 20 minutes. Had to wait another 10 minutes before the Ice Coffee came. When you asked the staff to follow up on the items, they're too scared to tell the kitchen/bar to speed up.

Bowls already have cracks and utensils all seem to be from a thrift store. Maybe they may have moved from somewhere and brought everything along.

To finish things off, they had a power outage at the end of the meal, in the middle of the day, while everything else in the mall was fine.

Everything is a joke and a terrible experience. I would've given 0 stars if...

Food: Very tasty dinner set for 2 that includes a salad, a main course, a side dish, two drinks and a dessert. It would have been better if the food was served one by one as the table was too small for all of them coming at once, and the AC was quite strong that the food became cold within seconds lol

Price: It was ok. I think the price is normal considering that the resto is located at a high rent shopping mall

Location: Easily accessible. It’s located at the area where there are many restos serving food from different countries.

Service: Not much service to be honest. Water was refilled quite frequently.

Atmosphere: Nice choice of fixtures and furniture. The wooden tables and comfy sofa and chairs gave you a taste of home. Would be even better if they played some Japanese...

I found this restaurant very nice from the aspect of the interior and the staff. Not only the food was super good the staff were kind and always offer help if needed. The food was delicious but also affordable. My favourite food was the yuzu pepper clam pasta. The set for two was perfect for two people. If it is still not enough, you can order some side dishes that are super duper yummy.Even though we spilt drink numerous times, the staff always was patient and the staff were still smiling at us(if not laughing). There was a dish which was really spicy and I wish it would have stayed more clearly on the menu. However, the attentive staff noticed and offered a new one without the spicy sauce fre of charge.Overall, this restaurant was great and I would definitely come...

We gladly opted for the "Festival Set for Two" (HK$498) when we chanced upon the fusion Japanese-Western restaurant on Day 4 of CNY. Becos' of its great mix and value of food ideas, comprising a salad, 2 tacos, 2 soups, a beef soup-udon, a tiramisu and 2 hot lemon-teas. The salad and tacos were delicious, the cake (containing chestnut bits and warabi-mochi as well as a 'gold-flake') was fantastically enjoyable. Perhaps, the mushroom soup could have been more hotter and more flavourful, and the kelp in the soup-udon, less 'fishy" though. The staff who attended to us were highly responsive, prompt, meticulous and efficient. A "Water" particularly impressed us with his professionalism, empathy and flexibility shown to customers.

I ordered the Sushi Taco—a rather overpriced hype item that only exists to feed trendy Instagram pages—and the Wagyu Bolognese, which was rather average-tasting. My father ordered the Crab Risotto, which ended up being a huge disappointment. The lukewarm sauce had not been simmered properly and tasted strongly of cooking wine. The kitchen apparently forgot that we ordered dessert and we did not receive it until we reminded the waiter about it. Though the presentation of the food is quite exquisite, the taste is sadly not up to par. I unfortunately cannot recommend this place as there are many other restaurants in the building that offer much better food for the price.

At Que restaurant, I savored the Grilled Pigeon Leg, Chorizo, and Tokachi Corn Tomato Risotto, a delightful fusion of flavors. The pigeon leg was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, complemented by the smoky chorizo that added a robust depth. The risotto was creamy and rich, with bursts of sweetness from the Tokachi corn and freshness from the tomatoes. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy dinner. Overall, a memorable dining experience that showcases innovative culinary artistry. Highly recommended! #QUE
