Takano Ramen — Restaurant in Sha Tin District

Lets start with their food. I ordered the Premium Crab Tsukemen, which was rather disappointing for $188HKD. The texture of the noodles were mediocre, flavours were underwhelming and the worst part was the cold broth. Broth was supposed to be served hot (or at least warm), they even had a little candle to keep the broth warm. Unfortunately, the broth was close to room temperature when served, and only got warmed towards the end of the meal.

Moving on to the environment, the store's layout was okay, just know that some of the seating for parties less than 3 are very cramped. They put a divider on a table (which is already small) designed for 4 people, making my experience rather... claustrophobic.

Most staff were nice, but the lady who led us to our table was not the most pleasant. At this price i expect some customer service, especially when you're charging a 10% service charge.

Randomly tryinga ramen place we walked past in the shopping centre - @takano_hk 🤗 . Our food: ~ Tanako Spicy Sour Ramen ~ Chashu & Duck Tsukemen ~ Pan fried Pork Dumplings 🥟 . Surprisingly the flavours were really strong! (In a good way). The Spicy ramen had a spicy mala soup base with pickled veggies bringing the “sour aspect” to the dish. You need to send someone to do the pest control! I was sitting at the corner table and my body was bitten by some kind of bugs!!!My skin turned rash and itchy! I informed the staff and they just answered “oh” and went away!!!! The floor is super oily and slippery! The cleanliness is totally unacceptable! The hygiene totally failed!!! The whole atmosphere is so humid and uncomfortable!

How can the staff just went away when the customer complained about something? This is so unprofessional! Crazy l! I’m gonna rate it to minus 100 stars if I could!!!! Not even worth a star! Just god damn close...
