The xiao long bao here is nice and truely the taste of china. It is easy to get here as it is just inside the metro station of Nanjing West road. But I have known of this shop based on the shop in Yu Garden. Nice atmosphere and design.

イマイチと言う人も居ますが、私はここの豚肉の小籠包は、本場南翔の小籠包屋より美味しいと思ってます。わざわざ、南翔へ行かなくても、上海の中心部に美味しい店は沢山有ります。南翔は小さい水郷とかもあって、雰囲気は有りますが、結構混んでます。一回行けば良いかな？ここは豚肉以外の小籠包は、確かに普通😄 豚肉の小籠包をいっぱい頼みます。安いですし。蟹なんかは高いだけで、美味しい〜って言う事はなかったです。小籠包以外の料理も美味しい料理は沢山有ります。南京西路に住んで居た時は、月に一度は行ってました。向かいの小楊の焼き小籠包もよく食べてましたが、こちらの方が好きです。空いてますしね。

來過多次的店，2018年重新整修環境更加舒適，因為南京西路地鐵站上的湟普匯二樓這家南翔饅頭店(吳江路店)才算是上海的旗艦，明亮的現場操作，二維碼自助點餐。比起環境一般人潮洶湧的城隍廟店好的多。在這裡才能真正品嚐南翔小籠包的美味。小籠包可以選擇性不少，如：鮮肉小籠、蝦肉小籠、薺菜小籠、蟹黃小籠、蟹膏小籠、香辣蟹小籠；口味與價格，各自選擇豐儉由人。餛飩湯個人感覺比隔壁的小楊生煎好吃，醉雞(或白切雞)、蝦仁春捲、炸豬排，或者點菜。甜點可以選桂花拉糕、梨膏露、綠豆湯。炸豬排比起以前有點退步。上海炒麵不建議，南方人吃不太慣這種濃油赤麵。

Famous Xiao Long Bao restaurant with a long queue. Took about an hour before I was ushered into the restaurant.

The restaurant as expected was packed with patrons all ready to dig into their famous Xiao Long Bao.

Ordered the pork Xiao Long Bao, Crab meat and roe Xiao Long Bao and a giant crab Xiao Long Bao. Took about 20 minutes before the food came. I wanted to love it because of the hype and history surrounding it. Well, it was just average. Nothing to write home about.

Try it if you must, but my advice is to skip this line and go try Lai Lai Xiao Long which...

The kao fu was very good. Fried shrimp ball was good, too. Fried veggie spring rolls were a little soggy on the underside.

The xiao long bao was not as good as expected; the wrapper was thicker and stiffer than other places in Shanghai or Taipei, and the filling was pretty dense. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen. A bit...
