Aperitivo Italiano — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

Despite the good reviews for this restaurant my experience was not good. The service was fine but the vegetarian lasagna I ordered was without doubt the worst I have had and actually bore almost no resemblance to the classic dish. It arrived piping hot with a thick layer of cheese on top. One small bite confirmed a serious lack of flavor and further examination revealed a lack of vegetables and large quantity of some form of pasta swimming in an anemic white sauce rendering rendering the whole thing inedible. This sort of thing has happened to me before over the years and I always offer to pay, however in this case they actually accepted payment. This was a first. Best pizza I’ve had in Bogota.

The crust was really nice and thin. And stone oven baked. The Margherita pizza was great. Lots of cheese as well.

The portion is on the smaller side, especially for the price. But honestly I would pay for it again given it tastes great!
