I usually rate places high, but I was a bit disappointed with the food. Don't miss understand, it is good, but it is not what I expect from a Japanese cuisine.

The Ramen was not really what I'd call tasty. The broth was bland‌, and my issue was with the type of noodles used for Ramen. Usually you'd want a very hard noodle to keep it's form and taste while in the soup, but it was soft and soggy. However I give props for presentation and delicious toppings it came with. Their gyoza was very good, I have to say I was very impressed. Just one note for the cook it was a bit over done, but very delicious. Lastly hand rolls, in general pretty decent, with well presented garnishing, and satisfying taste. However, it lacked the punch needed for a fresh sushi. I couldn't taste the fish as much as I tasted the garnishes on the top, and in general I would prefer if I could sense the freshness of the fish, and enjoy the taste of the sea when I eat sushi. It was very lacking. It was as though it was compensating for the taste with the toping sauce and seaweed salad that generally comes beside the sushi, instead of on top.

Would I recomend it, no. But for the price it is a decent meal.

However the service was - how do I say this without sounding pretentious 😅 - it felt rushed. The staff were constantly eying over our table as if they wanted us to leave to let other customers leave. I saw one other staff jump 4 steps down the stairs in a rush causing havoc and turning heads. Lastly, ur meal was over, and wanted to order more rounds, and instead the lady who was serving us looked a bit annoyed when she realized we ordered one more round to another person‌ as she assumed we were done as she picked up the previous round of plates.

I'd recommend it if you want to experience something fun, but really I wouldn't go there again, unless I see...

Terrible food and slow service. As an appetizer, i ordered salmon sashimi. It came FROZEN in the middle. Tasted literally like an ice cube when i took a bite. I sent it back and the staff was confused as to why i sent it back. If your staff at a Japanese restaurant doesn’t know that sashimi isn’t supposed to be frozen, you might as well just shut down the place. They replaced the sashimi and it was meh, I’ve had better.

For main, I had the “make your own” ramen where you choose your noodles, protein, sauce, broth, and toppings. Maybe i chose the wrong combinations (all combinations on a menu should taste good in my opinion) but it had ZERO FLAVOR AT ALL. I even added some soy sauce that was on the table and some wasabi that came with my sushi and NOTHING. It tasted like water. I don't think they added any seasoning at all. A 90 cent pack of ramen or cup noodles has more taste!! I didn't even finish it so i can leave room in my stomach to eat somewhere else.

I also ordered sushi. The menu selection was very limited (didnt even have one tuna roll, like what??) and the roll was just ok. Again, no flavor and it was dry.

My friend had wok fried rice and it was good.

There are tons of better ramen places in bogota. I was left very...

Attention: The attention was superb. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The food took about 20min to be served, which I think is ok. Food: The food was pretty good. I got the spicy ramen (medium) and it was great. Sushi was pretty good too. Price: It is a bit expensive when compared to other food options in the area by around 15%, but then again, you are eating ramen and sushi in the middle of Candelaria in Bogotá. General experience: It was great and I felt they put a lot of attention to details. For example, the staff thanked by bowing a bit and the fact that the menu is designed to be read backwards, like a Manga book. All in all, great experience.
