This hostel looks very nice, but despite having a reservation, we didn't get the chance to find out. When we arrived at 8 pm (as stated in the online reservation) from the airport, the guy at the desk told us that the hostel was full. When I asked how this could be, since we reserved well in advance, he simply blamed the computer. Hard to believe, because as soon as we entered, he told us there was a problem with our reservation. How could he know if we weren't in the computer?!||Anyway, the guy escorted us to a far worse hostel nearby, where we could get a far worse room - but still had to pay him (the guy from Ulucaho) the same price. To add insult to injury, when I (reluctantly) paid, he didn't even give me back the change he owed me, but just left without even mentioning it. It was a relatively small amount, but this is no way to treat your guests! ||Not exactly what you expect after traveling for 20 hours (and having to deal with lost luggage at the airport, but that's another story). I have no choice but to give this place, which looked so promising, the worst possible rating. What a...
Read moreCamila and Cindy are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable about Bogota and La Candelaria. The hostel is very bohemian and beautiful located right in Candelaria's heart. I stayed in one of the tepees and it was an amazing experience, very unique and although Bogota is kinda cold at night I was very warm all night. I loved it so much that I was supposed to stay one night and I ended up staying a whole week.||Breakfasts were made by Camila, they were very filling and delicious and varied, every day was a different meal!||The living room is open and large, I met wonderful hosts as the space is perfect to chill. The backyard is perfect for a morning meditation or even tanning hehe.||I've stayed in several hostels in Candelaria and Ulucaho has become my favorite place to stay when visiting Bogota.||Highly...
Read moreI really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It was one of the best things that happened to me during the trip, as the people there were very, very nice, they helped me with everything I needed. The facilities are very innovative and give an exclusive atmosphere, giving the perception of the countryside in the city. The most interesting thing is that you have the option to rent a tipi in the center of Bogota, which is completely different from any other hostel, giving a glamping experience. The view of Monserrate from the garden and the fresh smell in the morning give a feeling of home. The breakfast is the best, everything is organic and many spices are from their own garden. The place is clean, very organized and full of nature. The atmosphere in the hostel is really great. Thank you so much...
