Hostal Casa Lantana La Candelaria — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

Location is great, our triple room wasn't too big, just big enough.

Unfortunately cleaning isn't one of their strongest suits. All of our beds and the floor in the room and bathroom had hairs on/in them. Unfortunately the mattresses were not comfortable at all and all three beds were squeaking badly.

Even right after cleaning one of the shared toilets didn't have toilet paper. The roof in the common room upstairs is leaking. At least that explains the horrible stains on the furniture in the common room.

On the plus side: they let us store our bags until we had to leave for the night bus and the WiFi...

Unfortunately I can’t share the same experience as most people here. The room had no proper daylight window and the wifi reception was very bad. It was very loud at night. We also had some problems with our laundry and in the end they lost 5 pieces. Once talking to the lady at the reception (Nicole) there was no solution offered nor did they understand the problem.
