Crepes & Waffles Arte-sano — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

I was debating between 4&5 stars, but I guess the lovely staff warrants a 5 star.

Would I visit again - Absolutely yes!

Food - The menu has a wide range of options including Salads, Soups and an assortment of crepes to choose for your main course. My wife and I ordered a crepe each and both were delicious. I ordered their Bombay chicken crepe (or something like that) which was delightful. Coming from India I would say that their take on Indian flavours wasn't exactly the same as Indian, but still a good try, I would order that again. We also ordered one of their sweet crepes fir desserts and it was absolutely delicious.

Ambience - Nothing much to write about the ambience. The tables and chairs are comfortable and the dining experience is enjoyable. Although I would prefer that they have lesser tables so that the place would be less noisy. But looking at the line outside the place I guess they would want to put more tables or move to a bigger space. Probably not the best place if you're looking for a nice romantic dinner or going out on a date.

Service - The service was quick, efficient, crisp and friendly. There seems to be a good team environment and communication between the staff.

Price - I would say that this is a good value for money proposition.

Food is good. The reason I put two stars was terrible service. I arrived at 10 AM in the morning and the food took 1 hour and a half to arrive, not to mention that multiple times a person from my party had to stand up and ask them to take our order serve us. We were completely abandoned. Also, a person from my party ordered eggs with sausages and when it arrived there were no sausages and they failed to mention they ran out. I was a bit disappointed. The service was excellent, but the food was tasteless. I ordered a curry chicken crepe, but I didn't felt the curry, seasonings were missing. It looked great though. My other guests experienced the same with their servings. Salmon dumplings barely had salmon and the lentils soup was too thick. Tbh I wouldn't go back. So sad considering is a Crepes & Waffles...
