Crepes & Waffles Las Aguas — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

They have an expansive menu with something for every one (vegetarians, intense meat eaters and picky eaters). The ingredients and presentation seem pretty good and the menu items are very creative and tasty. I've had a chicken curry crepe and a thai flavored crepe and enjoyed them both. As a gringo expat visiting Colombia I firmly believe this chain restaurant needs to come to the United States, assuming it already hasn't but (if it has it needs to be more ubiquitous). Unacceptable. We waited over 50 minutes for our food, until we got tired of waiting and left. Just getting a menu took over 10minutes.

Not blaming it on the staff though : they were clearly drowning in the amount of orders and customers. If the restaurant can't keep up with the orders they should stop taking in as many as possible and focus on the quality of the service rather than the amount of customers they can take in. It feels like sitting...

A Colombian institution, there is a reason C & W are often lined out the door. Besides the huge selection of crepes, they offer a variety of eggs and other breakfast dishes, as well as generous soups, salads and sandwiches at lunch. Fresh juices and decent coffee as well, all for a fair price. At breakfast try the fruit and cereal bar, at lunch the salad bar. Don't forget their excellent ice cream...
