I recently embarked on a transformative graffiti tour with Jay from Capital Graffiti Tour Bogotá, and it was a profound experience delving into the city’s vibrant street art scene. Over the course of a few hours, Jay skillfully navigated us through the intricate alleys and bustling streets, providing a poignant narrative that beautifully intertwined the murals’ artistic allure with the profound historical context. Jay’s insightful commentary brought to light the tumultuous conflicts that have shaped Bogotá’s social fabric, allowing us to grasp the urgent need for individuals to express their truth through the raw and vivid medium of graffiti. His depth of knowledge and passion for the subject were palpable, leaving a lasting impression on all participants. This tour was not just a stroll through the city; it was a powerful journey through time and emotion, fostering a deeper understanding of the resilient spirit of the Colombian people. I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an authentic and thought-provoking exploration of Bogotá’s rich cultural tapestry.

Captivating Graffiti Tour in Bogota with Outstanding Guide Jeff! I recently had the pleasure of joining a graffiti walking tour in Bogota, and it exceeded all expectations! Jeff, our guide, was nothing short of amazing. His knowledge and passion for the vibrant street art scene in Bogota truly brought the city to life. Bogota itself is a beautiful canvas, and the artists here are exceptional. Jeff skillfully guided us through the colorful streets, providing fascinating insights into the stories behind each mural. It was a captivating journey that allowed me to connect with the culture and creativity of this incredible city. If you're looking for a unique and immersive experience in Bogota, I highly recommend this graffiti tour. Thanks to Jeff and the talented artists, I now have a deeper appreciation for the artistry that adorns the streets of Bogota. An absolute must-do!

An amazing tour and workshop with Capital Grafitti Tours. Bogotá’s street art scene is incredible and our walking tour with Carlos helped us appreciate the medium and artists even more. Carlos was full of knowledge and a great storyteller. Our kids (9 and 11) walked away with so many new questions and were identifying muralist like StinkFish and Erre on the drive to the airport. After the tour we had a great workshop with Natalia. She was so positive and encouraging with us all as we learned to use spray paints and worked on rags and letters. We created a family “throw” based on our cat (the kids idea) and had a great time as a family. Diego was also on point with communication when planning the tour and workshop. We highly recommend the walking tour and workshop for adults and kids as it was one of the most memorable experiences in our month in Colombia!

This is one of, if not the best, tours we have ever done. Our guide Jay was an absolute expert - incredibly knowledgeable, charismatic, interesting, and engaging. He truly bought the city to life through the street art and the stories behind there making. I cannot recommend this enough and I found it way more engaging than a traditional walking tour because you learn about the city through the art.

The art itself is one of a kind and truly unique to Bogota - we were stunned by the talent and creativity of the pieces, and equally captivated by the messages and concepts behind them. Because the guide works in the community and alongside the artists he really knows about every piece on the tour and you get an amazing insight into the street art scene on the ground and even the chance to meet some of the artists!

We learnt so much about the techniques, materials, and resources of graffiti and street art, but also about the funding and legality of installations in Bogota and the social and political backdrop of the art. The independent studio/gallery that the tour is linked to, and which you get to go to at the end, is also super cool.

Thank you...
