Read moreAcross the street from the Gold Museum, Galeria Artesanal was recommended to me by my MIL as the place she likes to go buy souvenirs at whenever she's home in Bogota.
We visited mid-afternoon after we finished at the Gold Museum and it was about 85% open. The souvenirs here are a little pricier than the ones we saw in the Candelaria area by the Botero Museum, but they are of better quality. We saw a lot of Botero items and I even picked up two figurines. We were also able to buy a duffel bag for our extra souvenirs (75000COP). There are a lot of vendors and a lot of them are very nice.
If you're looking for higher quality souvenirs, I would definitely recommend...
