Summary - 18 beers on tap, cold beers, a/c, good beer atmosphere, okay food menu.
Today the breeze came in late and I need a beer and some a/c. Walking around the old City I came across this little corner restaurant and could not resist the name. Yes, 18 beers on tap and more than you can count in the fridge.
With little Spanish being spoken I was having difficulty figuring out what was local or at least South American beers. I do suggest writing the origen of the beer on the board. More than enough beer to choose from to keep any beer lover happy no matter knowing the origen, however, I recognized most in the fridge.
I ordered the fish and chips, I was looking for a smaller bite to eat. The fish was fresh and not to greasy. The chips/fries where simple and nothing to get to excited about. If I could do it again I probably would have ordered something different. Would love to see more original fresh cut chips/fries on the plate.
Overall, this hit the spot for a cool high quality beer from the tap on a hot day. The atmosphere was nice with more of a darker beer drinking vibe, but not a super large place. The bathrooms where clean, always a plus when walking...
Read moreSmall craft beer bar in the middle of Cartagena Old Town. Opening times on the Google Maps are for guide lines only as it's definitely not open from 10AM - came here yesterday around 1pm and it was closed. Has better luck today and a bit later. They've got 18 taps but at the moment only 8 are running - could be because of the low season. And their Untappd list is completely out of date. For those reasons I'm deducting a star. Otherwise, good service and most importantly - rock music from the speakers - the music every craft beer joint should be playing. And very reasonably priced as well,...
Read moreMy husband and I traveled from the United States. We LOVE BEER & this bar is definitely for beer lovers. They had a variety of delicious local beers. They even had a sour beer (which isn’t common). The service and cleanliness were excellent. They have a wide variety of sports games. They even figured out how to play American football on the tv for us. Go Chiefs! During our time there we got to get to know the bartenders Alemao and Enrique. They both spoke great English! They were so inviting that we went twice during our vacation. So if you’re a beer lover and on untapped, this is the...
