Great arepas for a great price!
As people have reviewed previously, these are the white corn, grilled arepas. If you’re looking for the thick ones, you may want to try the street vendors, although most of them in the area make the arepa come huevo variation which is deep fried.
Anyway, the people that give this place bad reviews are obviously ignorant to the fact that there are different variations of arepas. These arepas are delicious and made to order pretty much fresh. I am Colombian and honestly, anything other than cheese inside is a bit of a new thing, I’m assuming due to tourism, so I stuck to normal and cheese kinky and they were amazing. The price is the vest part; the same or even cheaper than the street carts.
If you go later at night this place will be packed so be ready for a wait, but it is definitely great drunk food also.

They were tasty and definitely hit the spot, though I am not entirely sure if the price matched the quality. One thing that stood out was watching the cook use the microwave several times during preparation. While it did not necessarily affect the taste, it is always a bit disappointing to see a microwave in a kitchen where fresh cooking should be the priority.
The wait time was around 15 minutes for two arepas, which was reasonable but felt a bit long given the use of a microwave. Overall, they were enjoyable, but a little more attention to fresh preparation could take them to...
Read moreI can't recommend this place enough. Fast service, reasonable prices, and a diverse menu. There will certainly be something on the menu you're interested in. One arepa should be enough for a quick snack. Two should be enough for a full meal, three if you're really hungry. The other reviews are mostly correct, they may not be 100% authentic but they definitely have an arepa for everyone including picky eaters. And they do expect you to get in, get your arepa and get out, but the service was definitely up to American standards as far as speed. Try the salsas, they are also very good. If I'm here again I will...
