Stayed near here for three days. Went all three mornings. The first morning, i got a to-go order and didnt check it. It was missing a muffin. I didnt worry too much, but annoying. Second morning, they were out of Croissant/egg/ham sandwiches. Not sure how you run out of breakfast sandwiches as a breakfast type cafe. The third morning I ordered a breakfast sandwich, water and muffin. I paid and got my water and went and stood by the area to pick it up. The four people behind me got their orders. No more people in line. The workers are looking at me asking what i ordered. I show them the receipt and they seem super confused. The receipt says water and breakfast sandwich combo. So they get me my sandwich. Then i inquire about the muffin, cashier says he forgot. Has to ring it up. I pay. He asks “hot or cold?”. I told him “hot please”. I get over to pick up all my food and they slap down the cold muffin. Lack of competence is an understatement here. Not only am i surprised they have jobs working here, im astonished they have been able to keep themselves alive into their 20s/30s with this sheer inability to perform basic functions.
I came here for a quick, easy breakfast. Now im not sure i would step foot in a Juan Valdez if it was the only place for 20 miles and i was stranded in the desert.

Read moreIf you want to take a coffee and go, perhaps its your place. The quality of coffee is good however, the service and staffs? Absolutely Not! No one speaks a word in English which may happen in any other local stores or restaurant in Cartagena but in other places people were patient and tried to understand us. The cashier lady seemed mad at us for taking her time by not speaking Spanish.
After I bought a capuchino, an espresso and ice cream seperately, I asked for a medium size extra paper cup from staffs and they denied!
When we arrived there were barely an empty table and we had to sit on a dirty table, no one...
Read moreWhen in Colombia there are many coffee places to go, this should be in your top five list. This particular location has very good customer service, they are pretty polite and courteous. If you are in Boca Grande this is the place to go for a nice coffee or...
