Hotel Blue Concept — Hotel in Cartagena

Where do I start, it was like the TV show ( a series of unfortunate events), I booked a superior room for two for 8 nights, because wanted to enjoy some sun with my friend who lost his flight, when I checked in I wanted to take shower, the towels were old old old old, with stains, they put a new ones, but still old,. Next day I complain about the AC, too cold and you can't programme it, till the third day and till I almost was gonna break my finger when I tried to turn it off manually, I had to go the hospital. First morning I found small ants all over the desk, complained, when I come back, they were still there, till I asked the cleaning ladies for the spray and I did it myself. Days later I found two cockroach in the bathroom, then I had it, but I was still calm, they offered to changed the room but from superior to a normal, when we spry the bath room, comes out and an other monster. That was too much, I got a written apology from the administrator inviting me to a burger at the restaurant, I tried it one night I was too lazy to go out, the bun was too old, till I talked to Alex (if I remember his name correctly) that a burger doesn't solve the problem, the day after then he came personally to apologise and offer a rid on a hotel to the airport. I should have asked for the refund, but you know I didn't even bother. I ain't never going back to that hotel or advise anyone to go there. The breakfast is very very basic, the juice not even a juice, I asked for three fried eggs and the waiters, didn't liked it at all and she just rolled her eyes on me and turned, she brought the eggs, and they were just two till I asked her for the third one, then she took her time to bring...

So I’m from United States I would strongly urge you not to stay at this place. They charged me $30 for having guests over. If anyone steps a foot in your room they will charge you $30.

NO ELEVATOR OR HOT WATER!!

In addition, the staff is very rude and they find anyways to charge for things. Also the shower has no hot water only cold. The rooms have mold as well. I would highly recommend NOT to stay here. Oh btw, the breakfast is somewhat ok. super small portions.. They super stingy with the food. Save your money spend extra $ and stay somewhere classier. I beg you not to stay here. I swear the staff will literally find anything to charge you with. Remember this place has no ELEVATOR services!! All stairs carrying...

Badly aged hotel. This is one of the hotels that surely were nice in the year of their opening. But now it shows signs of neglect and missing sense for cleanliness. It is cheap but cheap does not mean it has to be dirty. Our toilet was clogged, floors were not cleaned properly, room smelt very moldy. Staff recleaned our room after we told them about the biggest issues - at least something...

The pool area is the same as the rooms - dirt and rust everywhere, birds bathing in the pool all day.

Breakfast was okay for the price, although the cutlery was not very clean in my opinion.

I just cannot recommend the hotel, I felt disgusted by it most...
