Stand out restaurant due to its food quality, flavor and taste. I tried the Hamachi sushi and it was wonderful as it combines two plates into one; sushi with ceviche on top. It was my two choices and can recommend (because of the two in one dish) especially if undecided amongst all the many items. The Sake Roll is the star of my two visits. It’s just a fabulous and well put together roll with tons of flavor. I’m a huge dessert person and this restaurants only offers one choice which I was a little disappointed by. I decided to give that one dessert a try and boy oh boy was I in awe! The flavor and creaminess of the Suspiro Limeño was so delightful and a very pleasant surprise. This is the only restaurant that I visited more than once while in Cartagena and for good reason. Our waiter Miguel pointed us in the right direction as far offering some options and was the one who suggested me to try the dessert. I was not disappointed in any of his recommendations. Note: it’s a laid back restaurant and not a super party vibe. It’s great to enjoy as a couple, friends or family. Would recommend 100%. 💪🏻 Buen provecho!

First visit: We ordered and shared chicken dumplings, ceviche en leche de tigre, and langostinos. Soooo delicious especially the ceviche. So fresh and tasty. To drink, a pisco sour (fantastic) and a glass of white wine. The service was very good, prompt, and friendly. We want to definitely go back and try other dishes. Second visit: On our second visit, we tried the pescado al cilantro and lomo saltado. The fish was salmon and came with shrimps on a bed of eggplants. The lomo saltado came with rice, french fries, and of course beef. Both dishes were delicious and quite filling. The red wine was served a bit chilled which is fantastic considering the hot weather. Of course, I had to have another pisco sour.

After walking through the touristy blocks without finding anything that looked good or was highly rated outside of Hamachi, we decided to give sushi a shot, and boy were we happy! We only had 2 rolls - should have ordered more, but with a 3-year old, you never know how much time you’ll get! Rainbow roll and a Cartagena roll - both were pretty standard options, but the freshness, quality and portions were top notch! The staff was great and we paired the two rolls with two Club Colombias and all 3 of us were happy!

Being Colombian, I have had the opportunity to visit Cartagena on numerous occasions. However, my recent visit to HAMACHI marked my first experience at this establishment, and I must commend the establishment for its exceptional food quality. I wholeheartedly recommend this fusion restaurant, which prides itself on utilizing locally sourced ingredients and offering a remarkable menu in an inviting atmosphere. I sincerely endorse it. P.S. I strongly suggest you to taste the octopus tacos during your visit!

Very nice decor restaurant. The service was excellent. The food is good but only 3/5. We ordered gyozas that were fried (should have had them steamed). The rolls were quality ingredients and did taste really good. Yes they do have cream cheese in them. The wonton soup was very interesting. Yes it’s soup and yes they have Colombian wontons in it but it’s a hearty chicken soup with wontons added. It’s very unique. I like to think of it as a new flavour in my life. I will return to this restaurant.
