I visited this restaurant last August, while being with my husband in Cartagena. My husband lives in Cartagena and I am from Puerto Rico. Both places are touristic destinations. The difference is in the tourists treatment. For us a tourist is part of our family, we treat them as such. This is not the first restaurant that have not treated me as expected. I have traveled through all the states of USA, most of the countries in Latin American and Europe. Now, as I mentioned before, the treatment I received, and I say “I” was not the expected one. I suggest the manager to review the camera recordings, interview the worker who attended the table and and the worker who prepared the bill. If you still insist that I was the one causing problems that is OK. I worked for more than 15 years as customer service representative in the pharmaceutical industry. I attended hundred of complaints from all the countries around the world. The first principle is customer service is that the client always has the reason, even if it is not the case. But a thorough investigation always reveal the final judgement. I wish your restaurant be successful. I am not the owner of this business nor I have investments in it. So how the restaurant continues its operations depends on the personal...
Read moreStand out restaurant due to its food quality, flavor and taste. I tried the Hamachi sushi and it was wonderful as it combines two plates into one; sushi with ceviche on top. It was my two choices and can recommend (because of the two in one dish) especially if undecided amongst all the many items. The Sake Roll is the star of my two visits. It’s just a fabulous and well put together roll with tons of flavor. I’m a huge dessert person and this restaurants only offers one choice which I was a little disappointed by. I decided to give that one dessert a try and boy oh boy was I in awe! The flavor and creaminess of the Suspiro Limeño was so delightful and a very pleasant surprise. This is the only restaurant that I visited more than once while in Cartagena and for good reason. Our waiter Miguel pointed us in the right direction as far offering some options and was the one who suggested me to try the dessert. I was not disappointed in any of his recommendations. Note: it’s a laid back restaurant and not a super party vibe. It’s great to enjoy as a couple, friends or family. Would recommend 100%. 💪🏻...
Read morePros: We have been going to this restaurant for the last month or so and have liked most of their food. They have some delicious dishes and some of the servers are really nice and helpful .
Cons: the main reason we will not be returning is because there are certain servers who are dishonest and added tip to to-go orders TWO separate times to my mom’s bill and they took advantage of her not speaking Spanish (which they are not supposed to do) and then lie to your face about doing so. I speak some Spanish and when I order to-go they never charged me the extra amount. They did return the money after I complained twice but this should not be happening to anyone. The money is not the issue but the lack of integrity behind it. If you go here make sure you look at your bill closely. Too bad this happened because I would...
