Clandestino Restaurante Lounge — Restaurant in Medellín

I do not recommend this place to anyone. They severely overcharged us for what we ordered and grossly misrepresent items on their menu. In addition, the atmosphere on the balcony for romantic couples is a bit uncomfortable as couples are feeding each other in beds set up around the balcony...very strange.

First, we ordered two glasses of the red wine sangria ($24.000 pesos per glass). Our waiter instead brought us an entire pitcher ($88.000). After tasting the sangria and both my wife and I finding it extremely undesirable, the waiter asked if we liked it. We responded no, and requested that we be charged only for the two glasses we ordered, not the entire pitcher. Our waiter responded that he could bring us some water to accompany the sangria we just noted we did not like. He did not reduce our bill and charged us for the full pitcher.

Second, we ordered a filet mignon entree. This is not a filet mignon in any sense of the dish. It was chicken covered in a basic bbq sauce. Close to inedible when you’re expecting a nice steak.

When told we did not enjoy our dinner in any way, no apology or accommodations were offered. We left the restaurant feeling ripped off and that our night had been ruined entirely. Please do not waste your time or money...

Do not waste your time. The absolute worst restaurant experience in my 5 years here in Medellin. We went for a Valentine's Day event, arrived on time and waited 15-20minutes for a waiter to recognize us. The plan was that they give out a small cardboard box of chocolates and a note card where the pareja writes a "deseo" and later on, "mujer clandestina" comes by and blesses your deseo offering a "romantic experience". She never came, the 2.5 hours we were there, so did not have any experience at all. Nor did she come to the neighboring table.

I was then thinking the Food might be good and offset this terrible start to our night. The food arrived more than an hour late. Salmon arrived wet and undercooked. Potatoes arrived too hard to bite into it, way undercooked. It was not even edible. I ended up still paying for the Sangria, which was tasty and the cheap decor that they provided. Tipped the waiter, at least he was nice.

The manager doesn't have a clue. I have no clue how this place is still open. Poor management and need to wipe the entire kitchen staff. I will never set foot in here again, and you...

EL PEOR SERIVICIO QUE HE RECIBIDO PARA EL VALOR QUE UNO DEBE PAGAR PARA ESTAR EN ESTE SITIO, LES CUENTO REALIACE UNA RESERVA PARA EL DIA 11 DE JULIO ´NOCHE DE PAREJAS´ LO QUE PROMETIAN ALGO DIFERENTE, INTIMO Y MUY SENSUAL SOLO LA RESERVA ME COSTO $170.000 MIL PESOS Y NO TENIA INCLUIDO ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA,

Llegamos al lugar mi pareja y yo siendo las 9pm lo cual nadie estaba en la puerta del restaurante para recibirnos, nos toco quedarnos parados un buen rato llamando a alguien que porfavor no ayudara con el tema de la reserva a lo cual hacían como si nadie estuviera parado en la entrada nadie prestaba atencion, luego de casi 15 minutos se acerca una chica y le explico que vengo para la noche de parejas lo cual nos ingresa al sitio y abre la puerta y olia super mal desagrable y solo nos señala desde la puerta siéntense ahi una silla larga en la cual ya estaban dos parejas mas y quedamos super apretados los 6 que ni nos podiamos mover, al frente mas parejas luces encendidas y el ambiente un poco tenso porque no era lo esperado, pasaron 40 minutos y solo ahi sentados sin nadie acercarse atendernos ni ofrecernos nada de tomar, me paro y solicito un cambio de mesa ya que no estabamos nada comodos a lo cual me dicen no hay mas sitio despues de solo pagar una reserva de 170mil pesos, en el transcurso de 1 hora nada de atendernos ni de llevarnos la carta ni nada de privacidad ni sensualidad como lo prometian en sus publicaciones, al contrario un momento tenso y apenado. luego de la hora llega una pareja la cual ingresan y les acomodan una mesa en un sitio mejor y los reciben con cocteles de bienvenida y nosotros ahi sin aun nada, procedo hablar con la administadora manifestando la incomodidad e incorformidad se sentia en el sitio y me dicen que no realizan devolucion de diner que debo consumir en otro ambiente del restaurante lo cual accedo y me quedo a comer en el picni pero la comida super de mala calidad para el valor de los platos que eran de 70 u/o 100 cada uno mas dos cocteles super malucos cada uno de 46mil pesos,

La verdad NO PIERDAN SU TIEMPO NO SON LO QUE PROMETEN NI GANAS ME QUEDARON DE VISITAR LOS CINES PORQUE LA ATENCION Y LA COMIDA LO PEOR, HAY MEJORES RESTURANTES EN MEDELLIN DE...
