I came here because it is conveniently located right next to where I was staying in my Airbnb. I got the “TOSTADA DE AGUACATE Y HUEVO REVUELTO”
“Multigrain toast with a layer of guacamole and avocado cubes, scrambled egg, and pickled radish julienne. Drizzled with balsamic reduction and tamarind BBQ.”
It looks pretty on the surface but everything was drenched in butter. Im a big fan of a lot of butter but this was the prominent flavor throughout everything and it was greasy.
I got the Moscow Mule to drink. It was pretty good however, when the bartender brought it to me I said, “Gracias” and he didn’t say anything, he actually had kind of a disgruntled look on his face and just walked away. Making me feel like I had done or said something wrong.
My waitress was very kind. No complaints there.
Some unimportant observations that maybe could be taken into consideration by the owners. La Poblado is a highly sought after area for most tourists to come and spend time in. Your menu is all in Spanish which is normal but usually there are bar codes on the table you can scan with your phone that display a version of the menu in English. I scanned the bar codes on the table and it gave me another menu that was all in Spanish. Maybe I scanned the wrong thing. It would be nice if it were easier to access a menu that has multiple language options. I ended up just taking a picture of the menu and uploading it to an AI app that translated everything for me. My pepper shaker on the table was filled with salt. Again, not a big problem but to me that says someone did their job carelessly. My waitress took my order and she left the menu on the table at my request in case I wanted something else. When the anti-social bartender came to deliver my drink he took the menu off the table and walked away. Maybe some better communication between the staff would be beneficial or maybe just keep the bartender in the back and away from customers. There are many different options for places to dine in this area and for a great dining experience I don’t mind venturing many blocks to get to a reputable spot. This dining experience was good but I don’t think I’ll...

I ordered the guacaburger with a side of onion rings. Usually, I noticed you get mediocre sides for your main order but surprise, surprise — their onion rings won my heart. The burger was good, yes… but the onion rings were seriously made to

Read moreMy husband and I found this special restaurant our last night in Medellín. We wish we would have found it sooner! The staff was very welcoming and the avocado margaritas were outstanding (tasted delicious and packed a punch). I want the recipe! ;) I ordered the burger and my husband ordered the carne quesadillas and both were filled with flavor- we were in heaven. We finished with the fresh and creamy avocado cheesecake. What a unique and delicious...
