Ordered a table for our family of 15 pers. When arrived we where placed in the backyard on plastic chairs and swarms of flies. Even inside would have been a dining room empty for us. But did not want to make anything out of it. Then the waiter - as rude as one can be. Stressed out and apparently not used to handle larger groups . Served more food than we ordered and in his words - it was our fault! Than the food and drinks- the "pizza" was the weirdest invention i have seen, the dough was neither crisp nor any shade of brown. Flat, chewy and a taste of frozen dough heated on a hot surface comes to my mind. The other dishes as tuna steak and salmon pasta where ok to eat but overcooked and nothing but and not worth $30 a dish. We did not wanted to complain and upset our family members, but still want to share our experience...
Read moreDecided to come try on my birthday, something simple, afternoon coffee. We were mesmerized by the food and above all the service of Don Carlos. Very attentive, high attention to details that you normally only see in fine dining restaurants. Towards the end Chef Ricardo came out and talked with us for some time about his history, food and vision.
Sometimes the ordinary turns into the extraordinary. This was my experience. We definitely will return....
