For a hotel restaurant, we were surprised at how much we enjoyed our dinner. Traveling with two teenagers, each one found something appealing—a lovely fish and roasted veg option for one, a rather delicious meat-laden pizza for the other. The hubby and I both had drinks (very, very strong!—I didn’t even need the free second margarita they were offering during happy hour), and our entrees were delicious. The only thing I would pass on is dessert-but that’s a theme in Costa Rica with sweets: they always look better than they taste.
