The Ticos and expats we know frequent this coffee shop in the morning. We have only come in the morning each time we have visited. I am not a coffee connasuir but they seemed to come for the coffee in addition to meeting each other here. I tried and liked their watermelon mint iced drink and their pinacolada without the rum. (I'm guessing the one with the rum is very good as well) Their cinnamon roll and banana bread were both good for dunking in a coffee drink. Otherwise, both were on the dry side. The iced coffee came out shortly after, and my muffin didn't arrive until 25 minutes after I ordered. It wasn't heated or anything, which again, is fine. I just didn't understand the holdup. Muffin was delicious once I got the pleasure of receiving it. Will try again tomorrow and see if the service...

Place is small but cozy and beautiful, and even bought a bag of their grains to keep those good memories for a little while at home....
