The pizza itself is good and the complimentary garlic knots were a nice touch. Ordered the Maui Wowie pizza but they were out of chicken (happens). Replaced with sausage and then asked if half of the pizza could be with mushroom.
When the pizza arrived it was a bit disappointing on multiple levels. The half that was mushroom was indeed that and nothing else... It was only mushroom. The half with sausage was sparsely topped with some of the border slices to the mushroom being essentially cheese. They also forgot the jalapeños. The flavor was good it just lacked over half the toppings that were ordered.
Also for some reason couldn't order the 1.5L of iced tea but could order 3 cups of iced tea?
Not here to bash, but getting charged full specialty pizza price for a pizza that was missing more than half the toppings felt inconsiderate to say the least. Bill ended up being ~$50 (USD) for 1 pizza, 3 iced teas.
Flavor was good. Most of the workers seem to speak English as their native language, so not sure what happened. For the price point and lack of execution, I wouldn't recommend. There are better, more attentive dining...
Read moreFantastic Pizza in Costa Rica! We'd been in country a couple weeks and love the local fare, but we were craving some good pizza, you know? We highly recommend you give this shop a try! We are bigger than your average family and this place not only served us amazing NY style pizza, they didn't break the bank. Nice and thin, cooked perfectly, great ingredients! Prices were fair for what we ordered (the XL). They even have this cool graphic on the wall, so you can easily see how big your pizza will be with how many slices. The staff were cool too, even gave us a few garlic knots on the house! (Not saying everyone gets that, it was the slow season) They were delicious, by the way, and recommend you order some. The sauce is really nice, not boring but not too spicy. Like Goldilocks - just right. Jonathan (owner/manager? - not sure) was really nice and personable. Don't leave Jaco, Costa Rica without checking this place out. Thank you for great...
Read moreHonestly a joke, $30 usa dollars for what is a medium Pizza Hut pizza. Felt like they ripped my soul out and feed it to leviathan. They gave us garlic knots that were raw and the sauce on the side was rancid. Pizza was mediocre and to give them the benefit of the doubt maybe they gave me the wrong size. But I didn’t pay that price $30 dollars for this pizza is feeding into greed and I doubt is actually getting paid any to the workers inside the hell chamber they call the kitchen. (500 degrees in there probably) dripping sweat right into the sauce(secret ingredient) And btw $30 for a pizza not to mention $30 dollars for a pizza but that not to fail to talk about the bigger topic which is $30 dollars for a pizza in the cheapest country for a us person to travel....
