Now that I have had food poisoning for 3days I feel compelled to share my review "NOT WORTH THE EXPERIENCE". The first person to approach us was a man who just wanted to shake hands. It took 15 mins of waiting and me getting up to get the attention of a person to help take our order. Another 5minutes later or order was being handled, then halfway through completed by someone else. As a gluten free Vegan I have had some creative excuses made (world wide) regarding why the food was made differently than how it was ordered. By posting Vegan and Gluten free options means your restaurant will provide the specific dishes without cheese or cream or milk WITHOUT FAIL. Of course double checking the order to ensure what was written will be the the result. Then they finally brought us water to drink. I made a choice to eat the food after 45 additional minutes of waiting for it and I was hungry. The dish showed up with yogurt on top and paneer inside (the dish doesn't include paneer). There was very little follow up with us after we got the food.. the same hand shaking man arrived just as we were paying the bill to prompt us to make a review. He actually got with in inches/centimeters of our ear to plug his request. The final request for review was prompted by a laminated sign with a QR code that he flashed before us. I stopped in my tracks out of the resto to let him know what my review would sound like. He was immediately dismissive and could care less about anything not good. I really wish I would have...

We ordered alcoholic drinks and browsed the menus. The chef came out to talk to us and we went with his recommendations. My husband had Chicken Tikka Masala which was rich, creamy and brimming with succulent chicken, basmati rice and naan bread. The rice was aged, long grains, fluffy and aromatic and the naan was light and slightly crispy! It was fabulous. I had Chicken Palak, again served with basmati rice and garlic naan bread. The Chicken Palak was in a rich creamy spinach sauce, again, brimming with chicken! I had told the chef that I liked spicy and boy was it! What a fabulous meal! Indian food in Texas is poor at best but this was rich, aromatic, spiced to our individual tastes, served in separate serving dishes with attentive staff. The restaurant is open to the balcony allowing a gentle breeze, very clean with tables (and comfy chairs!) not too close together. Our meal for two with drinks was very reasonably priced in our opinion. We will be going back again and again. I can’t wait to try all the dishes new to me and then try their Chinese menu! We both highly recommend you trying the cuisine here if you enjoy...

Chef Vikram is a true culinary artist. Every dish was crafted with precision, flavor, and passion. The lacy, perfectly crisp and delicate, was a delightful surprise and paired beautifully with the rich, aromatic chicken curry and the deeply flavorful fish curry—both of which were absolutely outstanding.
Service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like honored guests. The balance of spice, texture, and authenticity in every bite made this one of the best Indian dining experiences we’ve had, anywhere in the world.
If you’re in Hot Cocoa and craving Indian food, Spice Bar India is an absolute must. Chef Vikram and his team will leave you...
