Tico Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Jacó

On 3/13/2025, I had a horrible experience. On vacation with my sisters, we were looking for something good to eat, and to our surprise this place was a BIG fail.

As we entered the hospitality and customer service was subpar, but we were looking for something familiar like tacos. We waited over 30 minutes for tacos and beans and rice. The staff was nonchalant and non-attentive. Note we were the only ones there.

My experience gets worst. When I arrived back to settle for dinner the beef and chicken was tough as a brick. The rice was old and the black beans were, appeared, and tasted like lukewarm canned beans. It was distrusting, I could not finish it even after trying to make it better. (See photo) This was a BIG waste of time and money. The absolute worse part of my vacation!
