What an amazing place. We ate here on a Tuesday night around 8 pm with a group of 10 people. The staff was super friendly. The place has a great atmosphere and a huge table to accommodate a large group. The star dish was the Thai tuna. It was so fresh and a huge portion of yellow tail Tina. Several people ordered it and everyone that tasted it was amazed. Most dishes come with a seared sweet plantain which was delicious. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that a few of our various steak dishes got cooked with the wrong temperature. It seemed like they flip flopped a few of the temps and cooked them wrong like well done instead of medium rare and vice versus. Over all a great place and we would recommend to go try it out.
Added note. The drinks are amazing and for us they were adding strawberries which was great but the menu does not let you know that. In case you don’t like...
Read moreWe were surprised by our evening at De La Finca after having read such great reviews. Perhaps the more casual dishes e.g burgers and wraps are better, and better value. We were the only customers, and while our meals arrived quickly and the presentation was good, the food tasted nice but was nothing special for the price. The tuna steak was practically raw and cold, when we had specified medium rare, the bacon with the fillet mignon was highly processed. There was only one white wine (no red) available, which was terrible, we couldn’t finish it and was served in a plastic glass - surprisingly at those prices. We saw another review that noted an additional charge for paying by card but understood from the restaurant response this was tax and service, however we also experienced being presented a bill where we were told that it was a different price whether you paid by...
Read moreThis place was outstanding. Little gem tucked away next to a CrossFit gym. Don’t let the looks fool you, they have some serious culinary talent behind the bar. Their steak was fantastic. My wife loved her veggie wrap. The kids loved their cheesy noodles (Mac & Cheese, essentially).
They had a drink called Guabanaba. It’s a white smoothie made out of Soursop. Not something Westerners are familiar with, but do yourself a favor and make order one of them. Tastes like a mix of pineapple, strawberries and citrus. It was stellar.
After we raved about it, they made us an adult cocktail out of it on the house. Great service and wonderful experience. Do yourself a favor and eat...
