I don’t speak Spanish, so I’m going to write in English, I reached out to the bakery to assist me for my birthday cake for my 40th birthday coming up in August. I am simply writing this review to explain how pleased I am with the communication and service they have provided during the process of ordering the cake. I was able to provide a photo with ideas and they were able to confirm it can be done and ready for me the day that I need to pick it up and everything was done via WhatsApp message and they even accommodated finding me an English speaking Staff member who just like the other ladies that I was communicating with, was extremely friendly and easy to work with, and I am so excited and looking forward to picking up my cake in August. This is the first of two reviews, as of right now just based on communication and How easy they made it to place the order, I highly recommend this location even the Airbnb I will be staying at in the area, their staff also advised that this was a good location that I picked, and they highly recommended them as well. —— Today is the official day of my birthday and the cake came out even better than I expected. Honestly, I give this location 1000 stars highly recommend the customer service was out of this world, I have not one bad thing to say, if I’m ever back in the area, I Will absolutely be...
Read moreWe ordered a birthday cake from this bakery for our daughter’s 18th birthday while traveling through Costa Rica — and everything was perfect! From the first message on WhatsApp, Alexandra was incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and very professional. She created a beautiful cake that not only looked amazing but also tasted delicious.
We picked it in the morning at the bakery, which turned out to be a hidden gem in Quepos, near Manuel Antonio. While enjoying a lovely breakfast there (highly recommended — the food is great and the coffee is excellent!), Alexandra was putting the final touches on the cake right in front of us. We were surprised we didn’t even have to pay in advance — everything was based on trust.
This place is a must-visit — not only for cakes but also for a delicious and cozy breakfast or lunch. Some staff don’t speak English, but they are very kind and welcoming for tourists.
Thank you again, Alexandra, for making our daughter’s special day even...

I came here one day with my dog. The staff was completely lovely. I didn’t have to explain that my dog is a service dog. They didn’t ask questions or make me feel bad, and they even brought my dog water. All women servers. I had the perfect time and was able to work, enjoyed the coffee and ate delicious food. I came back today, very excited to be there again. It's a week later, and the gentleman server who greeted me told me I wasn’t allowed with my dog. The restaurant was empty btw. I explained I had been there last week with no problem and he told me that the laws had just changed (complete bs). I asked for the manager who told him that it was actually okay to bring my service dog in. Instead of being apologetic or nice, the server who wasn’t allowing us said “she didn’t tell me it was a service dog”… 🤯 At that point I didn’t want to support a place with such bad vibes so I took myself down the street to Cafe Milagro and my dog and I had a perfect time. The staff was nice and coffee was delicious. La Panera, you need a staff who is nice to guests when...
