my friend and i stumbled across this place when walking around espadilla beach after being in the national park. amazing sushi- great service, and the best place to see monkeys! we sat upstairs facing the beach and saw so many monkeys running on the cables in front of us and in the tree behind the restaurant. excellent vegan / vegetarian options including incredible sushi! been vegan for 30 years and we have tons of vegan sushi in california and this was some of the best we’ve ever had. people that eat raw fish have said this is also amazing for fish sushi. they also have other japanese apps and rice and noodle bowls. we ate so much and came back the next day it was so good and the...

The only reason I’m reviewing is because of the other reviews that say this is the best sushi they have ever had. No it’s not. Service was good, place is nice, the food was very okay. We eat sushi a lot in many places and the taste of the all the items we ordered just wasn’t great. Edamame was over cooked and bland, miso soup was okay, the sushi was fine, we got salmon and tuna but not the best, and the roll was fine, just again not the best. If your expectations are right I’m sure this would be a fine sushi spot in CR. It however is most certainly not even close to the best...

I was excited at the opportunity for ramen after a couple weeks traveling in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, the vegetarian ramen did not really satisfy. The noodles were overcooked and the egg was just a hard boiled egg put into the soup. I would recommend trying something else if you eat here.
