Restaurante Comidas Típicas Al Sabor — Restaurant in Quepos

Highly recommend this restaurant, especially for backpackers on a budget. It is just a short walk away from the town centre but the food was much better than the Sodas located there and as it is a buffet style it was much quicker.

The service was exceptional, the man working there was very friendly and gave us recommendations for other places to visit in Costa Rica, he even ran down the street to give me my hat back after I left it behind. 5 stars for this...

Easy to get to with plenty of parking down the side of the building this little restaurant is a great find. As prices continue to go up this is a little jewel that gives you great value for your eating dollars. They serve typical Costa Rican food that’s very reasonably priced. The service is fantastic! This is addressed at people who have read other reviews stating that this is a buffet. Where I am from, a buffet usually means self-service, aka all-you-can-eat. This place is not like that. The food is prepared in advance and you can ogle it all before deciding but you get one plate that includes rice & beans, a choice of veggie, a choice of meat, a choice of salad and a drink. Cost me 4550 colones. Food was good but...
