EDIT: We went back to Cafe Milagro tested at for Poke And Ceviche. We almost went to Emilio’s, but after hearing how it was prepared we decided to go back to Cafe Milagro because it was so good! It didn’t disappoint. Delicious again! The staff is so friendly. We also picked up a reusable water bottle for Manuel Antonio park. They were so kind to wash it out for us.
If I could give it more stars I would. We ordered a bunch of plates and just shared them. We took some of the servers recommendations starting with the Kale smoothie. I think it also had pineapple and papaya. I don’t know, whatever it was it was delicious! We had the poke tuna with avocado and mango over coconut rice and the ceviche with plantain chips as appetizers. Possibly the best poke and ceviche I’ve ever had and I’ve had a bunch. You could taste the freshness. We also got the Carribean chicken with slaw, rice, and beans. It was really good, and you could tell they brine the chicken because it was super tender and juicy. It was sweet and spicy, but nothing could top the two appetizers. We shared fish tacos which were really good too. The fish was super fresh and cooked to perfection. It was served on freshly made corn tortillas with guacamole, and slaw. All the fish was SO fresh! We finished up with the passion fruit cheesecake. The server was a very nice lady with a tattoo on her arm. She was SO nice and attentive. The atmosphere of this place is relaxed and not pretentious at all. They also have a little retail store with some coffee and done local souvenirs. Try the ceviche and Poke if...

Product: One of the top 3 restaurants we’ve been to in the 13 days we've already been here (eating out twice a day) in Costa Rica. Very good tuna, meat, and desserts (the avocado, cacao, and cheesecake were a blast!). Nice smoothies and drinks. Cool shop of Costa Rican products at the entrance that weren’t overpriced-5 stars. Process: Easy to order, fast service, and they were kind enough to take the plates out. Very efficient at cleaning the tables even when the kids spilled a glass. Price: Around 90,000 colones for 6 adults and 2 children. We had 50% off on the main courses- 5 stars. Promotion: We found you on TripAdvisor and also discovered the 50% off. No extra branding around your restaurant. You could improve this aspect for a long-standing memory of your...
Read morePicked up some breakfast with my friends since we had to get on the road. They were very accommodating and friendly. I ordered fruit, a side of breakfast potatoes and a side of rice and beans. They don't really have vegan breakfast options so that's what I went with. The fruit was delicious! Very fresh. The beans and rice were so plain, i wish they packed some salsa lizano (popular costa rican hot sauce). The breakfast potatoes were delicious and flavorful compared to the plain rice and beans. My friends said their egg sandwiches were also plain, like the eggs were plain and the cheese wasn't cooked or melted into the sandwich. It held us over through our hike. We ended up going back later on for dessert because they had a good looking dessert menu, but that was somewhat disappointing. The vegan avocado mousse was very salty on top because of the overload of sea salt and then the rest was flavorless chocolate mousse. I barely ate it and felt bad for wasting. The tres leches was pretty dry visually and though I didn't personally taste it due to the dairy, my friend said it wasn't the wet/super moist tres leches she was hoping for. My other friend ordered the passionfruit cheesecake which she was happy with, so go for this if you are looking for a dessert. It seems like a nice touristy spot and they have vegan friendly dinner options, but I'm not...
