INVEST IN YOUR PERSONNEL TRAINING!!! The place looks great!!! I liked and enjoyed the food but the service needs a lot of improvement. I ask for a beer at the beginning and after we received our food I waited for 10 minutes and ended up having to wave at the waiters to come to my table. The restaurant was about 30% with only 9 tables being served. Waiter never greeted guests. A simple good “afternoon welcome to Santokatrin” would have made a big different. After I order my second beer I requested it to be “Michelada”. They brought me the bottle no Michelada. After 5 minutes one of the waiters came back to check if everything was ok and I told him I did not get my Michelada so they brought it after 2 or three minutes. I could have spend more money at this place if the service would have been better. We were 7 guests. I was born in Costa Rica but live in the US and eat out at places of this Caliver but you have a lot to learn. Or may be you know it but do not invest enough time training and supervising your staff. Ok. We have been at the table for 10 minutes wanting to order a dessert but our waiter is nowhere to be seen. This is good Mexican food, and both service and ambiance are quite good. We tried diced fried cheese as an appetizer, and they were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, good taste. The margaritas drinks were quite good as well. The tacos campechanos... right on the money... try them with the spicy sauce. They have four levels of hot... try the one you're suited for... This place has a lovely atmosphere and great service but in my opinion a little lacking in flavor. I could tell that the food was made well and that it was all prepared in the kitchen (not from a can or something like that). We just felt that the food did not have that typical strong mexican zest and it didn't help that the price was a little on the high side for what we were getting.
