Every year when we go on holidays we eat at this restaurant, it has a beautiful terrace right in the middle of old town Zadar and the ambient is very pleasant. You can try traditional Dalmatian meals and also classic meat dishes like beefsteak or ramsteak. We had a risotto with gamberi and shrimp and stuffed pork loin with potatoes and grilled vegetables on the side. The wine card was full of local Dalmatian wines with some of them from well known central croatian region, plenty to choose from if you enjoy wine. The staff was more then friendly, our waiter was great, well educated and knew a lot about wine so we ordered on his recommendation and wasn't disappointed at all. The food was very tasty, the portions were just about enough and the price wasn't high considering the quality of the food and service. We are absolutely returning next year and I would personally recommend this restaurant for nice and pleasant lunch or dinner with family or friends.

Very delicious dinner of good quality but with room for improvement. We would recommend the octopus with homemade gnocchi, it has lots of Mediterranean flavours. The Dalmatian pašticada was also terrific. Only we would like to see some more vegeterian / vegan options on the menu as the ravioli with cheese were one of the few options that was vegetarian. This meal was pretty good but could use a little less butter / fat in general. Very heavy pasta. The other dish that did not fulfill our wishes was the veal steak. We expected a real steak, not this fatty small piece of meat. Also the mashed sweet potato cream tasted like butter and nothing else. Last year we got served baked potatoes with the steak but this year they were left out. The waiter however did bring them to us once we asked for them. After our dinners from last year at this restaurant, we expected a little more of this dinner as the prices are definitely not the lowest in town.

We went to this restaurant looking for a good rating on Google maps. The kitchen, cash desk and toilets are located in the building, and tables are directly on the outdoor terrace. The terrace with several fans is a good place in the summer heat. The tourist flow passes around the terrace and this additionally pleases visitors. Large tables and sturdy metal chairs hint at the establishment's solidity. Clean toilets, no bad smells. The staff speaks English. Table setting is competent and fast, well served by the waiters. Prices are unusually high for Croatia, but everything is tasty and of high quality without flaws. Fresh fish. Well cooked lamb and fresh bread. Cold beer. Feelings of wasted money did not arise, everything corresponds to the prices. recommended for family visit.
