There is a reason it is the best hostel in Zadar!

I had the best experience at this hostel possible, which concluded my European trip perfectly. I think the main asset this hostel has is its staff: Friendly, polite, patient and proactive to help, no request was too big and it is always done with a smile. One member of the reception staff: Marin, even managed to find the live boxing match for me so I could watch it in the hostel common room. THe guy was an absolute star!

Now to the hostel itself:

Secure: when travelling security is prime, and in this hostel, everyone has free lockers located under their bed which are key coded! fantastic.

Cleanliness: the standard of cleanliness is great, the cleaners clean every morning and always say hi when you walk past them in the walkway!

Price: for what you get it cant be beaten, you even get free croissants each morning for breaky

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is not one of the party kind, however that doesnt cut this hostel short as not everyone wants to party, so for the traveller that does their partying in the city this hostel is sufficient. Thats not to say there is no atmosphere however: there is a common room area with a pool table, a kitchen with great seating area to chat over and during my stay a group of Argentinian women created movie nights in the common area where thy watched chick flicks!

Overall, very satisfied, left a positive experience on my travels and I will definitely be visiting again....

It's not my first choice of this type of hostel in Zadar, but they were available when I needed such accom because my boat from Zadar was unexpectedly cancelled due to whether conditions.|I miss a female room option.|Shared rooms are very tiny, you can hardly lay and open a (small) suitcase there, if you have any. It's OK for a one night stay. I was happy to have a bottom level bed, later anotherone came to the upper level bed - the ladder is quite tricky. |Otherwise, in the reception were very helpfull, gave me an advice about local transport issues. I appreciate their 24/7 service. And I agree it is clean, equiped with the basic opportunities, good location to Zadar 'attractions'. The centre of Zadar is relatively small anyway, and beach is more likely on the other side of the center.|I did not like getting emails repeatedly from Tripadvisor to review this hostel. Other accom did not border...

This is my 3rd time staying here, and it just never disappoints. It's clean, the staff are friendly and it's the perfect location. I usually travel solo so I book a dorm (which I love there is only 4 to a room and a private bathroom shared between just the 4 of you) but this time we booked a twin for privacy. It was great. It was clean! We only use the room for sleeping in anyway! Amazing views over the forum. The only thing I found strange (but it's not a complaint) was that our twin room had carpet. I just think this is unnecessary and I think they just need tiled flooring like in the Dorms. It's also great how towels are free, and you can also borrow beach towels for free. There was a hairdryer and body wash - for a Hostel, they really think of everything and how light some of us like to travel. This will not be my last stay!!! I'm looking forward to...
