Beautiful restaurant located next to a cute park in Zadar. We thought the 35 euro for three course set meal to be very reasonable. After explaining our preferred taste, the waiter brought some great local white wines which were stellar. Overall a great restaurant in Zadar, but I'd only give four stars to the food itself.
Here are my dish by dish reviews for what we ordered: Appetizers: Black Risotto - Best appetizer by far, really well seasoned, good texture, loved the sun dried tomatoes and cheese Octopus Salad - Good, but nothing amazing Gnocchi with Ragu - A little too mushy and the meat tasted a bit too gamey but I liked how tender it was
Entrees: Short ribs - Best of the three we ordered, good sauce and mash potatoes Duck - Well cooked, but a little bland, I think it needed a sauce Lamb shank - Well cooked again but severely under seasoned
Desserts: Carrot cake - Amazing, best thing we ate. The baker should open their own pasty shop Apple Streudel - Good but not the carrot cake, apples were a little too raw and too much cinnamon
Overall we had a nice dinner at the Well but I wouldn't expect five star food. I'd get the Carrot Cake...

The octopus came with cold cheap frozen package french fries and the falafel sweet potato dish was simply a disaster. Instead of falafel it was made of deep fried potato smash placed on plain and dry ice berg lettuce with a few pieces of tomato, completely unseasoned. Charging 17€ for that dish, and 25€ for the octopus, is honestly outrageous. Nothing about this can be described as „fine dining“. The beautiful location in a small park is matched by the quality of the food served and efficiency of friendly service.
