Instead of scratching your head you should focus on your menu and service. I have seen many other reviews you never acknowledge your customers review you just try to cover it up that's not a good thing to do. I hope you understand this someday*
I recently had the chance to dine in a coastal town, with the promise of fresh, flavorful food options and a range of choices. However, my experience left me disappointed and craving more, both in terms of variety and quality and staff behaviour.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with a simplistic and unassuming ambience that held the promise of a quick and satisfying meal. The menu, unfortunately, told a different story. It was evident that this restaurant had missed the boat when it came to catering to a diverse range of dietary preferences.
For starters, the Fish/seafood options were shockingly limited. As it was located at the port city. Along with that, there were not many vegetarian options at all. As my friend is a vegetarian, he was left with just a couple of uninspiring choices, and the vegan selection was even more meagre. In a city by the sea, I expected to see a wide variety of fresh, plant-based dishes, but the reality was quite the opposite. The lack of creativity and attention to the growing demand for plant-based options was truly disappointing.
Moving on to the seafood offerings, I was excited to sample some of the local catch. To my dismay, the seafood selection was far from impressive. Not only were the choices limited, but the quality was questionable. I ordered a seafood tortilla (which they have only Tuna), hoping to savour the flavours of the ocean. What I received, however, was a tortilla with a distinct lack of ingredients. The seafood inside was scarce and appeared to be cold, leaving the tortilla with an unpleasant chill. The promise of a sea-to-table experience was clearly not fulfilled.
The girl at the counter was too inattentive and unpleasant with her question about the food. She said it is a little restaurant thats why we don't have that much variety in the seafood options and veg and vegan ones. That was the most ridiculous answer I have ever had. It looked like she was overburdened and she did not want to attend anyone else. I know you have a lot of options in Chicken and Beef but as port city and for the people who cannot eat chicken and beef could add seafood or veg options.
In a city known for its maritime bounty, this fast-food restaurant missed a golden opportunity to showcase the richness of the sea and cater to diverse dietary preferences. With a more thoughtful approach to the menu, the inclusion of a broader range of vegetarian and vegan choices, and a focus on seafood varieties and quality, this establishment could become a true gem by the coast. Until then, it remains a place to visit only if you have no other options and can overlook the limited and...
Read moreWould highly recommend, if you're a foodie. A variety of pub food, which is also really good. The sides and the dipping sauces are really good and generous in quantity. On the drinks, it's a decent selection of local beer and soft drinks to go with the food. The staff is amiable, even though it was hard for us to figure how the place works. Whatever you choose as food, it's pretty good. Was a little disappointed in the onion rings, even if people really recommend them. Maybe we just caught a bad batch of onions, as they were slightly bitter. The vibe this place gives is really good. A lot of pulp fiction , Tarantino art in the wall, along with pub art, and old school decorations. Thumbs up for that! Overall, if you're in Zadar and want to get some food, enjoy nice atmosphere and have a drink, this is...
Read moreWe saw a post on Reddit with some recommendations for best places to eat in Zadar and decided to give it a try. Indeed the expectations were met. The burgers are very delicious, even the normal burgers are big, portions are for hungry people and prices are affordable. They also have sandwiches and salads that I am sure are as delicious as well. We had O my sweet cheesus and Burgazam, with some sidedishes (breaded jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream cheese are delicious). Instead of having a simple 5€ sandwich in the city centre, add 2-5€ more, walk a bit and enjoy the experience. They also have craft beer (best from what we’ve drank so far in Croatia). Everything was perfect. For sure we will eat there again until we...
